Best/Worst Trades?
Seems pretty slow on here today, and there's been hardly any posts so was wondering what you all thought was the best or worst trade that happened in the offeseason/preseason. It's up to you how you interpret that, you might see it as a team who got a great player for a low pick or a team who managed to dump a player they didn't want but got a decent pick for him or just one where both teams got pretty good value in the trade.

Skins trading Jarmon for Gaffney. Jarmon isn't playing and Gaffney helped us beat the Giants. So far so good!

Yeh we cut Jarmon, but we don't need Gaffney so he's not a big loss for us

Best trade for both teams was probably Kolb for DRC + a 2nd.

With the amount of time he gets in the pocket, Brady could probably come over here and check.

Shame that doesn't count as a trade.Brady12 wrote:Sixth round pick for Tom Brady 99
I can see why you say that as the Cardinals filled their key position of need and the Eagles got a good pick and good player in return, but I'm still not really sold on Kolb there should be plenty of time left in his career for him to prove me wrong though.Graeme Swann's Cat wrote:Best trade for both teams was probably Kolb for DRC + a 2nd.
Greg Olsen for a 3rd round pick seems like a great trade for the Panthers and I'm still a bit surprised they only had to give up a 3rd rounder to get him. For teams getting better than expected you can look at the Redskins managing to get anything for McNabb and Haynesworth when they would both have probably ended up being cut.

Best trade is Hershall Walker to the Vikings, this trade pretty much made the Cowboys dynasty in the early 90's
