So what is this 6WF malarky Empty So what is this 6WF malarky

Post by Big Daddy Bee Fri 28 Jan - 21:22

I'm not being funny as from what I know this sounds like something that I'd find fun and would like to try but I don't know much at all about it.

Can somebody be kind enough to let me know how it works and how to join in the fun.

It's E-Fedding.

Basially you create a character and promo for him.

There are 2 weekly shows...

Monday - Shutdown
Thursday - Lockdown

There is a PPV each month, there are about 20 people currently active on the roster and it's great fun for letting off steam.

You create a character sheet and then PM our 2 commissioners who will set you up in a match!

If you still post on 606 - [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Just intro yourself until 6WF fully moves.

If not, post it on here and we can help out.

Thanks for all your help with that, I'll get it sorted either tonight or tomorrow.

One last question on this, is there anywhere where I can see some of the other character sheets. I don't want to steal any ideas just want to see what other people have put as it looks cool and to give me an idea of what sort of thing to put down.

Really interested in doing this, but just want a couple of questions answered:

How are the stories/matches created and how do they go about who wins/loses?
Presuming also that if you create a promo that it will ultimately need to relate to the story and who you are facing?
Any other information that can be given would be a huge help and greatly appreciated. thumbsup

Sorry if I am causing annoyance!

The storylines are put together by the commissioners but with alot of input from the roster.

If you promo well and show interets then you can go very far. The commissioners are very helpful when it comes to suggestions for character direction.

You generally promo against opponents but people are always up for a bit of back and forth.

I've recently joined myself and i can assure you it's brilliant fun, especially if you like creative writing.

Check out the links above and get a feel for it, i'd recommend reading Electric Demon's promo's as he is superb

Post it on here and someone will post it over for you.

Mat (one of the commissioners/ writers) is also on here already so will spot it too.

Great commissioner and its a brilliant thing to get involved in - like Kenny from South Park, They killed Hobo, the Bastaaards!

Great looking character there and good that you've picked a face, at present we're quite heel heavy with my stable 'The Church of Hero' being frankly awesome.

If you post your character sheet on the BBC link one of the commissioners will see it and include you going forward. Theres a PPV show going up on Sunday so the next show will be Thursday, when you'll probably get your first match.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

This is the PPV card where people have been promoing this week, you can either do a debut promo on here or wait until the card for Thursday is up and start from there

I'd start off with an introductory vignette like the wwe did with Del Rio recently, something that sets out who the character is.

When you get put in matches and storylines you can promo off against your opponent or just random skits. When you get a storyline going the promos tend to come to mind quite easily

Hi mate,

If you read through all the above posts on this thread it'll give you the character sheet and what is needed to get started. You fill in that character sheet to create your character's personality and look. A tip for your character, make sure it is someone that you can keep running with and isn't going to be difficult to promo with week in week out. I suggest being a Face as there is definitely more Heels than Faces at the moment but it's completely up to you.

When you've filled in your character sheet send it in a PM to Mat (the poster above your post, he is one of the Commissioners) and he'll get you on the next card which should be this coming Thursday. Basically what will happen then is you can create your own promo for your first match once the card goes up, which will probably be either tonight or tomorrow. Do you have a 606 profile? Because at the moment we are still using the 606 to put our promos up.

Have a look at this BBC link as well above to get an idea of our promos for the upcoming PPV Betrayal:

Not sure I will be any good at this thing so maybe working with a few others will be cool

The problem with gimmicky characters is they usually only have a limited period of time before you run out of ideas, whereas if you have a bit more normal character you can mould and develop him into someone unique over a longer period of time.
