Looks to be good fun! I'll be having a go later.
Please stress to people, asking them not to use search engines. You'll never be able to enforce it but I hope people respect it.
I'm sure everyone could get 100% if google were allowed but it's more fun not to use it!

Thanks Davie, I updated the quiz to stress that. I pretty much copied what you said (if you don't mind) and then highlighted it in red to make sure they read it.

Well done for the swift submission mate! I am trusting everyone not to cheat anyway, do well see how it goes. I won't get time to mark them until this afternoon, but I gave a brief run through on yours and I will say now that you haven't done too badly!

Re: The Official Pub Quiz - Closed!
YI Man: but the golden rule is that the quizmaster is always right. Whatever is on his answer sheet is final. I even gave you two half marks for some questions
Davie: yes it is, but if the demand is high I can make them more often. At the moment they take place on the first Friday of every month.
Yesterday I was speaking to Hero and he said we could move it to it's own place, so make people more aware of it. At the moment the quiz is a bit hidden away, as it's only mods and wrestling fans that use the nags head. Hopefully we can get more people to take part next time. I'd happily Mark another twenty quizzes

Kaiser: You got half a Mark for saying 'something city'.
YI man, your two half marks were for the same thing as kaiser and also putting 'donkey kong new york' for 21

That's fair enough. I'd forgotten you'd said they were monthly. Would be nice if they were a bit more often but I know how much work they are to put together

Re: The Official Pub Quiz - Closed!
I honestly wouldn't mind Davie, but if only 8 people are going to take part I don't see much point. That's why I think it would be good to have the pub quiz moved somewhere better. Hero had some good ideas about that, so I'll see what he says
