To Strike Or Not To Strike?
We have already had a tread discussion on the topic, but since it was going slightly towards a Murray bash, the essence of the argument seems to have been lost.
I just came across an article written by Pete Bodo, where he presents the whole issue in a more balanced way (i.e. patritism, Tim Henman, miserable git etc are not mentioned ):

Bodo's always a bit on the Money side, still, not a bad read.

Without a doubt, these players are far underpaid for the 'job' that they put their lives on the line for. Starbucks waiters are living the high life of a Wall Street banker, yet these vulnerable, starved, unwashed young men do something for mankind that is truly beneficial to the human race in these days of financial uncertainty.
ATP must do the ethical thing and pay these men in sterling, when will they realise pesetas are no good anymore?

Well all this has certainly shown the huge disparity in players' IQ.
You really need to be a shark these days...so sad...

I think the players shoud have less mandatories, I mean they weren't always forced to play 8 masters every year. But i would oppose cutting down tournaments in anyway. If you think the schedule is long don't enter as many tournaments, it has been a formula that has worked well for Roger. If you want to enter 21 or 22 tournaments a year, play exhos, play davis cup; when you are only required to enter 18 well then I don't feel sorry for you.
