Jonah Lomu admitted to Hospital

Bad news from New Zealand; Jonah Lomu is in hospital. There's not really any information on what's wrong with him, but as an ambassador for the World Cup and a Kiwi Sporting legend I'm sure that everyone over there in New Zealand will be hoping he recovers soon.

Re: Jonah Lomu admitted to Hospital
Apparently he's in the renal/liver transplant ward so presumeably something related to his kidney transplant

That's a shame. He looked very well when he appeared in the RWC opening ceremony. I wish him a full and speedy recovery, and if he does have a transplant, that it all goes smoothly

Well I hope it doesn't mean he has to have another operation on it then.

The first of many freaks of nature. By any contemporary judgement he should have been a great number 8 but NZ had the insight to to put him on the wing.
A great, great player who will be remembered fondly for mowing over England - especially Catt and Tony Underwood.
And brought on the PI beasts who now most serious clubs/sides can't do without.
Good lick to the big man. That kidney of his saved a relieved rest of us a decade of wrecking ball humiliations.
Nice bloke in private so is is reported.
