Post by nick_fury Tue 27 Sep 2011, 12:02 pm

Welcome to the Tactics Submission Page for Viva's Sexy Boys League

Please post your League match tactics with the format and title as below:

Gameweek 1. “YOUR TEAM IN CAPS” vs “opposition team”

Line-up:

Subs:

Captain:

Tactics:

Obviously your Lineup should include 11 players and 7 Subs.

Make sure you check your weeks Injuries as if any injured players are part of the starting 11 this will affect your team and effectively they will be starting with 10 players.

There are no restrictions on tactics but please try not to make them too long as we’d like to take into consideration managers have a minimum of four sets to read through on voting days.

Anyone who consistently Copy and Pastes tactics every week may find their teams results take a nose dive.

Viva's Rainbow League: Tactics Submission Empty Re: Viva's Rainbow League: Tactics Submission

Post by ncfc_Tooze Mon 10 Oct 2011, 4:42 pm

Valencia

We will be playing a 4-4-2 this week with a diamond midfield

Diego Alves

Alex Sandro Rolando Vitor Alba

Albeda

Totti Parejo

Simao

Kleber Jonas

captain = Albeda

Subs- Guaita,Dealbert,Maduro,Feghouli,Defour,Walter,Rodriquez

Tactics

General
Try to keep as attacking as possible but don't do anything stupid

Defending corners
Albeda and Parejo will each stand on a post, Kleba and Totti will stay the furthest up field with Totti waiting on the half way line and Kleba playing just on the edge of the centre circle in the attacking half of the pitch. Man Marking in the box is to be used at all corners for the opposing team

Attacking Corners
The Right Back and Left Back to stay furthest back in defensive half this is to handle any opposing players that may be left up field with both centre backs coming into the penalty box.

Corner Takers
Left Hand- Totti
Right Hand-Simao

Simao will cross in the ball to the penalty area towards the heads of the two centre backs whereas Totti will make a short pass to the nearest player and then recieve the ball back when he has got towards the edge of the penalty area, if in a shooting position he will take the shot on, if not he will pick out a pass to a player who is in an area to shoot. once corner has been taken and goal has been scored or the attack has come to an end both centre backs are to make there way back upfield to go back to there defensive duties as quick as possible.

Goalkeeper tactics
Be vocal and organise your defence, make yourself look big and try to catch every ball you have the chance too

Defensive Tactics
Stay with your man at all times, if player gets round call for one of the team mates to run in and help out. The right and left back have chances to make runs with this set up, but will only do so if. If in doubt boot the ball out of play and don't try to do anything fancy.

Midfield Tactics
Try to pass the ball in squares, use the wide men and only make short passes, like the defence don't try anything fancy. back point of the diamond is to help out with defence if called upon.

Striker tactics
Call for ball as early as you see a chance, if the strike partner is in a better position than yourself, play a short pass to them then make a run towards the nearest post to you, you never know a tap in may come your way if goalkeeper drops the ball.

Subs if winning
60mins Totti off for Feghouli- midfield to go to straight 4-4-2 formation
65- simao off for defour- 4-4-2 formation to be kept

Subs if losing

Viva's Rainbow League: Tactics Submission Empty Re: Viva's Rainbow League: Tactics Submission

Post by Adam D Tue 11 Oct 2011, 11:37 am

Schalke:

3-1-4-2

----------------Fahrmann
------Cicinho---Metzelder------Heinze------------
-------------Papadopoulos--------
Farfan-----Jones-------Raul-------------Holtby
---------Huntelaar----Wiegel-----------

subs: unnerstall, Sarpei, Escudero, Moravek, Moritz, Marica, pukki

Tactics

General
Attacking as possible - want to make a statement of intent from the underdog - catch the other team by surprise

Defending corners
Zonal Marking with Raul being the furtherst forward in the case of a breakaway (as he will be the slowest of the forwards). Pap and Jones to become regular man marking defenders during set pieces away from their attacking remits.

Attacking Corners
Pap and Cincico to join the rest of the team to provide a bit of height.

Corner Takers
Left Hand- Holtbi
Right Hand-Raul

Raul to take corners into the near post whenever possible looking for the flick on. Holtbi aims for back post with Wiegel aiming the ball back towards between penalty and six yard box. Pap and Cinc to be running in late to meet either the flick on or ball headed back.

Goalkeeper tactics
No frills keeping - parry the ball to safety or punch long. Quick release on any catches to help with the atttack ing style employed by the team.

Defensive Tactics
Zonal marking. Always play the ball over the top and fast release to get the attacking players moving. dont let the other team time to camp in our half - use the threat of quick counter attacking to make them more defensive..

Midfield Tactics
Use width wherever possible with the wide men running the flanks. Quick ball from the back is essential from the defenders and two defensive midfielders. Raul plays just behind the front two, giving them little flick ons to run on to.

Striker tactics
No clever build up play - shoot on sight. not interested in walking the ball in to the net - the forwards have been told to shoot early and powerfully. Running from midfield and early balls into the box from the wingers.

Subs if winning
Stick to the formation and replace like for like. Late in game, take off Raul and replace with a extra defender. Have Huntelar fall back into a midfield position leaving one up front. Still play on counter attack.

Subs if losing
Stick to formation but replace one of the two defensive midfielders (Pap or Jones) with a more attacking midfielder (Morritz).

Post by Adam D Fri 14 Oct 2011, 9:25 am

Tactics for SChalke vs Arsenal

Formation
Spoiler:

As can be seen from the chart, the overall tactics are to play solidly in defence with the two wing backs going forward at pace to counteract the Arsenal flooding of midfield.

The team has been leaking goals and we feel the best way to solve this problem is to play a system where the midfield is bypassed with long balls over the top and into the flanks.

With the signing of key players in defense, midfield and attack, we feel that the new tactic will work well.

Demichilis will provide a wealth of experience alongside Papadopolous in defense which will help the relatively young Howdes come on leaps and bounds. I am playing 3 centre backs with two wing backs that counter act Arsenals attacking threat.

Farfan will drop back into midfield during slower passages of play, but the main aim is to get the midfield going froward at pace with long balls into the flanks. The aim is to stop arsenal playing free flowing football through aggressive tackling and fast distribution to unsettle their back lines.

The new signing of Witsel gives the attacking options from midfield extra strength. He is used to playing in the centre of midfield and can attack from deep. Cicinho will cover the right of midfield as a winger should Farfan cut inside and push forward.

Farfan will start off as a right winger, where he started his career but will be utilised in the same way that young/ nani are at Man Utd. The ability to either run down the wing and cross or come inside as a direct goal threat.

On the other wing, Marica will be utilised as a midfielder but run the flanks along with Heinz where he has also played before. His remit is to get to down the flank and cross the ball into the centre men.

Carroll is playing just off the front behind new signing Babacar. He is there to pick up any knock downs from Babacar, as well as creating and distributing to the wings.

Both Babacar and Carroll have been given the remit of shooting whenever possible - be as selfish as possible and shoot early leaving defences little time to react. Its imperative not to give Arsenal any time on the ballor to organise their defense

Babacar is a fantastic signing and a rising star of the game. He is 18 years old and stands at 6ft 3, and possesses great pace. His remit is to get in to the box early and meet as many crosses as possible. He needs to support the wingers when they break and provide a big target. When the ball is played up to him from the middle, he is there to put Carroll into a shooting position with little layoffs.

Carroll is a real coup for the club and will complement Babacar perfectly. They possess similar styles but Carroll will play a little deeper. At times in the game they will reverse positions to confuse the defence.

The corners will be taken by Marica and Farfan respectively with Demichils joining in.

I expect the team to start scoring from set pieces with their heads - I have recruited very tall players to facilitate this.

Subs - Should we be losing with 65 mins gone, Raul will replace Babacar who is still learning only being 18. Carroll will assume the front striker with Raul behind him. Also, should Heinze be feeling the pace, Kenia can come in as a direct replacement for him at around the 70 minute mark. This would see a slight tactical change, as Kenya would move into midfield, leaving a backline of 4 (Cicinho acting as RB instead of wing back). This would allow the Marica and Farfan to play a more advanced role supporting the front men.

If winning, Marica and Babacar would be replaced around the 75minute mark to flood the midfield more, with Raul coming on in a midfield role, leaving Carroll up top on his own. Kenia would also come on for Babacar playing as a sweeper in front of the back 5.

We feel very confident about this new system, the combination of height, very fast pace, and experience on the bench heralds a newdawn for Schalke FC.

VALENCIA vs eveton

This week we are playing everton who played Schalke last week and won 3-1, the same result as we lost by. This week we have bought in gomes,Pienaar , hoarou and 3 from porto who will all be involved at some point in the game. Last week Midfield was prehaps a little open playing the diamond so therefore we will be playing a flat 4-4-2 this week. Totti will be rested and will be on the bench

Line up
Gomes

Valera Mangala Natali Vitor

Albeda Souza Pienaar Belluschi

Rodriquez Hoarau

Subs- Alves,Dealbert,Sapunaru,Totti,Topal,Aduriz,Jonas

Tactics

General
Try to keep as attacking as possible but don't do anything stupid, If you need to defend do so!

Defending Corners
Pienaar and Belluschi will each stand on a post, Hoarou and Albeda will stay the furthest up field with Hoarou waiting on the half way line and Albeda playing just on the edge of the centre circle in the attacking half of the pitch. Man Marking in the box is to be used at all corners for the opposing team. Gomes if you can catch the ball shout for it

Attacking Corners
The Right Back and Left Back to stay furthest back in defensive half this is to handle any opposing players that may be left up field with both centre backs coming into the penalty box. Haorou is to stand as close as possible to the opposing goal keeper, do not foul. Pienaar/Albeda are to stand on the edge of the area and run in to the box and go for the ball after the corner has been taken, this is dependent on who takes the corner

Corner Takers
Pienaar/Albeda

Both takers are to aim for the heads of the tallest players in the box. Once corner has been taken and goal has been scored or the attack has come to an end both centre backs are to make there way back upfield to go back to there defensive duties as quick as possible.

Free Kicks/Penaltys
Gomes will take Free Kicks in defensive areas, Defenders keep an eye on where the ball is at all times, watch Gomes as if a bad kick we do not want an opposing player running in and pinching a goal as no one is watching
Pienaar will take free kicks from midfield areas
Rodriquez will take free kicks from around the penalty area or just before, Pienaar will stand as close to the opposing GK as possible
Hoarau will be penalty taker

Goalkeeper tactics
Be vocal and organise your defence, make yourself look big and try to catch every ball you have the chance too. Use your agility to make good diving saves, but at all costs try and catch the ball

Defensive Tactics
Stay with your man at all times, if player gets round call for one of the team mates to run in and help out. If in doubt boot the ball out of play and don't try to do anything fancy.

Midfield Tactics
Try to pass the ball in squares, use the wide men and only make short passes, like the defence don't try anything fancy. wide men try and make runs when you have the chance and unleash a cross into the box.

Striker tactics
Call for ball as early as you see a chance, if the strike partner is in a better position than yourself, play a short pass to them then make a run towards the nearest post to you, you never know a tap in may come your way if goalkeeper drops the ball.

Subs if Winning
65mins- Aduriz for Hoarau- 4-4-2 is to be kept
80mins Rodriquez for Totti - instructions to go to 4-5-1 will be called out by player entering the play

Subs if Losing
60mins- Totti for Albeda- gives a bit of attacking bite, totti also not upset about getting a tackle in
70mins- Souza for Aduriz- formation change to 4-3-3

(sorry these are late, hopefully these will be excepted if not dont worry)

Viva's Rainbow League: Tactics Submission Empty Re: Viva's Rainbow League: Tactics Submission

Post by Adam D Sun 23 Oct 2011, 9:47 pm

Spoiler:

The team has been leaking goals so the tactics have been changed to have 4 in defence with Jones playing in front as a sweeper.

With the signing of key players in defense, midfield and attack, we feel that the new tactic will work well.

Demichilis will provide a wealth of experience alongside Papadopolous in defense which will help the relatively young Howdes come on leaps and bounds. Valencia are playing a 4-4-2 formation, so the 4 in defence with a defensive midfielder in front as sweeper should prove a good tactic to stop the attacking threat of Valencia.

Farfan will drop back into midfield during slower passages of play, but the main aim is to get the midfield going froward at pace with long balls into the flanks. He will aim to join the attack whenever possible either by drifting in or by crossing in the balls to the very tall front two who have been recruited for their areal ability.

Witsel will play in behind the front two and support them whenever possible. His signing is there to control the middle of the park.

Farfan will start off as a left winger, where he started his career but will be utilised in the same way that young/ nani are at Man Utd. The ability to either run down the wing and cross or come inside as a direct goal threat.

On the other wing, new signing Reuss will be utilised as a midfielder but run the flanks along. His remit is to get to down the flank and cross the ball into the centre men. His signing is a major coup for the club as he is a young German star on the rise. He can play in the centre but also on the right wing.

Carroll is playing alongside fellow new signing Babacar. He is there to pick up any knock downs from Babacar, as well as creating and distributing to the wings.

Both Babacar and Carroll have been given the remit of shooting whenever possible - be as selfish as possible and shoot early leaving defences little time to react. Its imperative not to give Arsenal any time on the ballor to organise their defense. We feel that Gomes is still unpredicatable and not giving him time to think will cause to make the silly mistakes he is famous for. He also does not like a areal threat and the two front men have been told to crowd him at set pieces.

The corners will be taken by Reuss and Farfan respectively with Demichils joining in for the set pieces from defense.

I expect the team to start scoring from set pieces with their heads - I have recruited very tall players to facilitate this.

Subs - Should we be losing with 65 mins gone, Wiegel will replace Babacar who is still learning only being 18. Carroll will assume the front striker with Raul behind him.

Marco Hoger would also come on for Jones as a direct replacement to bolster the defence should we be winning.

If winning, Farfan and Babacar would be replaced around the 75minute mark to flood the midfield more, with Hoger coming on in a defensive midfield role and Jones moving to a more central midfield role, leaving Carroll up top on his own. Kenia would also come on for Babacar playing as a 2nd sweeper in front of the back 4.

We feel very confident about this new system, the combination of height, very fast pace, and experience on the bench heralds a newdawn for Schalke FC.

GAMEWEEK 4
EVERTON TACTICS vs roma

STARTING 11

Starting formation

----------------- Howard ----------------
------------------------------------------
Hibbert --- Heitinga --- Jagielka --- A.Ekotto
------------------------------------------
---------- Fellaini ----- Neville ------------
-----------------------------------------
-- VDV ---------- Cahill ------- Vargas ---
------------------------------------------
----------------- Defoe ------------------

Subs - Ján Mucha,Sylvain Distin,Coleman,saha

CAPTAIN - NEVILLE
CORNER KICKS - VDV
FREE KICKS - VDV
PENALTIES - DEFOE

Howard
Be strong and confident at the back. A good defence starts with a good keeper at the back. Want him to communicate at all times with his defence. We look to play the ball short as much as possible.

Heitinga + Jagielka
DEFENDING: Both are very versatile and more than capable at CB. will be strong in the air and into tackles and will be covering the middle keeping an eye on any advancing CM.
ATTACKING: Both to push on for corners and free kicks into the box.

Hibbert + Ekotto
DEFENDING: hibbert will be the more defensive out of the 2 allowing Ekotto to be able to push on down the flank more often. Both need to be on their toes and close down the wingers at every opportunity.
ATTACKING: Hibbert is to sit back abit more. Ekotto is to help out Vargas down the left.

Fellaini
DEFENDING: He will be playing the anchor roll today sitting deep, winning the ball in the middle. He has the passing ability to create plays but still could be vital today as he will be key in breaking down opposition attacks. When we have a corner, he will sit back at the half way line.
ATTACKING: N/A just spread the ball around

Neville
DEFENDING: We will look to use Fellaini's stamina to good affect today and have him playing the box to box role. This way we have enough to cover at the back as well as getting forward.
ATTACKING: will be attacking today, more so Cahill who will look to get in and around Defoe to help him out, almost as a SS today. Cahill is playing box to box and will look to get in and around the area finding space to maybe unleash a shot or 2. Neville is at times to alternate moving out to the RW as well to allow VDV to move centrally as this will offer abit of variety in the opposition box.

Vargas + VDV
DEFENDING: Will both track back and help out our fullbacks as they have the stamina to do it.
ATTACKING: Although VDV is a naturally striker, he has the ability to play out wide. He will look to get on the end of goal kicks and alternating between 1) getting into the box when Cahill pulls out wide and 2) attacking the flank himself. The formation is a mix between 4-5-1 and 4-4-2 as when Cahill moves wide VDV moves central.

Defoe
ATTACKING: Is to lead from the front on his own. Be big and strong and battle with the CB’s. When they have the ball close down the defence and put them under pressure. Needs to be in constant contact with the players behind.
if winning :- keep the same

If losing at half time:
60' - saha on for Fellaini
saha and defoe upfront
-------------- neville -------------
--- VDV ------ Cahill ------ Vargas
--------- saha ---- defoe --------

week 5-Valencia v PSG

We have made 2 additions to our squad this week, with Duda and Borges joining us. Duda will start for us to add some width but the chance to start for borges has come to early, however I expect him to play at some point in the game. We also have 2 injuries in Saltor and Feghouli, so two players will have to come in to the team to replace them

Starting XI= 4-4-2

..................Gomes...................
Valera.... Mangala.... Natali.....Sapunaru
Duda.......Souza.......Pienaar....Belluschi
..........Rodriquez... Hoarau..............

Subs-Alves,Dealbert,Bristo,Totti,Topal,Aduriz,Borges

Tactics

General
Attack,as often as possible, dont do anything stupid and defend when needed, listen for calls from team mates and from coaching team for instructions

Defending Corners
Pienaar and Belluschi will each stand on a post, Rodriquez and Duda will stay the furthest up field with Duda waiting on the half way line and Rodriquez playing just on the edge of the centre circle in the attacking half of the pitch waiting to set up any counter attack. Man Marking in the box is to be used at all corners for the opposing team. Gomes if you can catch the ball shout for it and catch it, then play the ball upfield as quick as you can to one of the players in the attacking half.

Attacking Corners
The Right Back and Left Back to stay furthest back in defensive half this is to handle any opposing players that may be left up field with both centre backs coming into the penalty box. Haorou is to stand as close as possible to the opposing goal keeper, do not foul. Pienaar/Duda are to stand on the edge of the area and run in to the box and go for the ball after the corner has been taken, this is dependent on who takes the corner. We will also leave Souza on edge of area incase the ball drops to him to get the ball back into the box as quick as possible,he is to take the shot if it is on.

Corner Takers
Pienaar/Duda

Both takers are to aim for the heads of the tallest players in the box. Once corner has been taken and goal has been scored or the attack has come to an end both centre backs are to make there way back upfield to go back to there defensive duties as quick as possible. We also have the option of putting the ball to the edge of the box for Souza to either shoot from or to get the ball in the box. Dont get in eachothers way as we will the box.

Sub if winning
65mins- Aduriz to enter the play replacing Hoarou- we will keep at 4-4-2
80- Duda to exit for Dealbert- we will go to a 5-3-2 formation which will give us more security at the back, we will also stop being as attacking, but if an attack is on go for it.

SCHALKE Tactics v Roma

Team:
--------------Fahrmann-------------
Uchida--Howedes--Carragher--Fuchs
------------------Matip-----------------
-----------Witsel--------C.Adam---------
Taarabt---------------------------Bannan
-------------------Carroll-----------------

Subs: Mathias Schober (GK), Gabriel Heinze (CB), Tim Hoogland (RB), Christoph Metzelder (CB), Dániel Tőzsér (CM), Michael Owen (ST), Alexander Baumjohann (AM).

Captain: Howedes

Tactics:

Ok lads, this is my first game in charge so whatever happened before doesn't matter. The slate is clean, your season starts here.

Goalkeeper: Be strong, save smart, stay in control of your area, claim anything you feel you are able to do and don't let anyone put you off.

Defenders: We're playing away from home so not conceding is paramount. Work together in a line, DO NOT play the offside trap. CB's, work together to close down attacks. Howedes, come up for corners. Carragher, let the full backs help you out because you have no pace but you have experience, so use that to your advantage. And don't do anything silly like going in two-footed. Full backs, go to each post during corners. Attack, but be careful and quick about getting back into position.

Midfielders:
Matip, you are the DM. Help Carragher out because he has no pace and cover the runs of anyone running between the CB's. Be wary of De Rossi and Valbuena especially.

Charlie, you are my playmaker. You will take all free kicks within 30yds of the goal, all corners and the penalties. Feel free to play a Scholes-esque pass to Carroll out front and don't be afraid to shoot within 25 yds of the goal, but NOT from the halfway line. Whip in the corners to the penalty spot and let Carroll do the rest.

Witsel, keep the passing simple and help out Charlie if possible. Keep an eye on their DM's.

Taarabt, you have a free roam of the right side of the pitch. Use every skill and trick at your disposal to break forward and whip in balls for Carroll. Feel free to take on the full backs and the centre backs and be ready for a rough time.

Bannan, you have good pace and I'll say the same to you. Attack the full backs and centre backs and use that left foot of yours to whip in balls for Carroll.

Forward:
Carroll, use your size and girth to bully the CB's and I expect you to win everything in the air. Be wary of Bannan and Taarabt's balls into the box and don't let their defenders bully you!!

Remember , attack when possible but play it safe. Don't let me down.

Subs:
After 65mins: Metzelder for Carragher
After 75mins: Owen for Taarabt (revert to 4-4-1-1)
Toszer for Bannan (Adam plays on wing, Toszer in the middle)

SCHALKE v Everton.

Line-up:
--------------Fahrmann--------------------
Uchida--Howedes--Metzelder--Fuchs--------
-----------Witsel--------C.Adam-----------
Bannan---------------------------Taarabt--
-----------Owen----------------------------
-------------------Carroll------------------

Subs:
Mathias Schober (GK), Gabriel Heinze (CB), Tim Hoogland (RB), Jamie Carragher (CB), Dániel Tőzsér (CM) , Levan Kenia (AM), Alexander Baumjohann (AM)

Captain: Howedes

Tactics:

Overview: Ok lads, we lost last week but I think I've learned some of the mistakes I made last week and I know what to change. This week we're at home against Everton and I want to see you going for all 3 points here but make no mistake, it will not be easy.

Goalkeeper: I want to see you take command of your area as always and only claim crosses that you are sure you can catch. Be especially careful of Coleman's crosses into the box.

Defence (Centre backs): I've replaced Carragher with Metzelder for this game because he has no pace. Your job will be to be wary of Defoe, don't let him get a head start on you. Also, watch Van der Vaart and stop him when he tries to run into the box. Remember to close down both these danger men when possible and don't retreat too far!! And be wary of Fellaini when Everton have corners, that boy can jump!

Defence (full backs): Defence should be your priority but do not be afraid to make runs down the wings to support the strikers. Fuchs, be sure to track Coleman when we don't have possession. Such is his speed that if you let him out of sight for a second, he'll be gone. Uchida, you keep an eye on Vargas too.

Midfield: Seeing as we're at home, I've switched to a 4-4-2 instead of last weeks 4-5-1.

Witsel: I want to see you marking Van der Vaart and stopping him whenever you can. I feel he is Everton's key man and if you can keep him quiet, we can stop Everton attacking.

Charlie: The playmaker as always, search for Carroll if you can and feel free to have a shot in or near to the penalty area, but not from the halfway line!! Get the ball to the wingers if you can't find Carroll and they will try and follow my instructions.

Taarabt: Use your magic feet to trick and bamboozle the opposition defence. Run at Hibbert and don't be afraid to take him or Heitinga on and, of course, try and whip in balls to Carroll.

Bannan: Your job will be harder against Assou-Ekotto. Search for Carroll if you get the ball. If you can't find him, take on Assou-Ekotto. He's fast, but I'm not entirely convinced by him in a full back role. Whip in balls to Carroll too, if he's in the box.

Owen: Your job will be to play on the shoulder of the centre backs and shake up the defence a little by being a nuisance. I'll instruct Carroll to try and knock the ball down for you to have a shot with. You're still a very clinical striker for your age.

Carroll: You're my battering ram. Take your spot just in between the centre backs. Charlie will try and find you, as will the wingers. If Charlie does find you, see what you can do. Feel free to get a shot away but if Owen is available work with him to break down the opposition defence. If we concede corners, I want you marking Fellaini.

Subs: After 66 mins: If winning, Owen off and Toszer on (switch to 4-5-1 and pack the midfield)
After 70 mins: If still winning, Metzelder off, Hoogland on (freshen up the defence), if not, Witsel off, Baumjohann on.
After 80 mins: Metzelder on, Heinze on

game week 6

Roma v Valencia

Injuries-Vicente Guaita,Juan Valera,Duda

Last Week we were on the losing end of a tight 2-1 game against PSG. This Weeks Opponents are Roma who picked up a 3-1 win against everton.
Therefore we are going to have to be a little bit more tight at the back and midfield areas to try and counteract these threats.

Starting Line up.

..................Gomes...................
Saltor.... Mangala.... Natali.....Sapunaru
Souza.......Albeda.......Pienaar....Belluschi
..........Aduriz... Borges..............

Subs-Alvez,Dealbert,Bristo,Totti,Topal,Rodriquez,Hoarau

C. Albeda
VC. Belluschi

General
Keep Tighter at the back and Midfield. Meaning Don't do anything stupid and making runs that you can't get back to defend from. But still try to attack if you can.Listen for calls from team mates and from coaching team for instructions for any changes to tactics that need to be made.

Defending Corners
Pienaar and Belluschi will each stand on a post, Aduriz and Souza will stay the furthest up field with Souza waiting on the half way line and Aduriz playing just on the edge of the centre circle in the attacking half of the pitch waiting to set up any counter attack. Man Marking in the box is to be used at all corners for the opposing team. Gomes if you can catch the ball shout for it and catch it, then play the ball upfield as quick as you can to one of the players in the attacking half. It seems counter attacking will be our best option from this position

Attacking Corners
The Right Back and Left Back to stay furthest back in defensive half this is to handle any opposing players that may be left up field with both centre backs coming into the penalty box. Borges is to stand as close as possible to the opposing goal keeper to try and put him off and if keeper drops ball we may be able to get a tap in, do not foul. Pienaar/Belluschi are to stand on the edge of the area and run in to the box and go for the ball after the corner has been taken, this is dependent on who takes the corner. We will also leave Souza on edge of area incase the ball drops to him to get the ball back into the box as quick as possible,he is to take the shot if it is on.

Corner Takers
Pienaa/Belluschi

Both takers are to aim for the heads of the tallest players in the box. Once corner has been taken and goal has been scored or the attack has come to an end both centre backs are to make there way back upfield to go back to there defensive duties as quick as possible. We also have the option of putting the ball to the edge of the box for Souza to either shoot from or to get the ball in the box. Dont get in eachothers way as we will the box.

Try to pass the ball in squares, use the wide men and only make short passes, like the defence don't try anything fancy. wide men try and make runs when you have the chance and unleash a cross into the box.Keep defensive for the majority of the game.

Striker tactics
Call for ball as early as you see a chance, if the strike partner is in a better position than yourself, play a short pass to them then make a run towards the nearest post to you, you never know a tap in may come your way if goalkeeper drops the ball.

Subs if winning
65mins- Hoarou to enter the play replacing Aduriz- we will keep at 4-4-2
80- Souza to exit for Dealbert- we will go to a 5-3-2 formation which will give us more security at the back, we will also stop being as attacking, but if an attack is on go for it.

Sub if losing

65mins- Souza to make way for Rodriquez- a change to a 4-3-3 formation will be called for.

EVERTON TACTICS vs SCHALKE

STARTING 11

Starting formation

----------------- Howard ----------------
------------------------------------------
Neville --- Heitinga --- Jagielka --- A.Ekotto
------------------------------------------
----------------- Fellaini -------------------
-----------------------------------------
-- Coleman ------- VDV --------- Vargas --
------------------------------------------
---------- Defoe --------- Saha ----------

Subs - Ján Mucha,Sylvain Distin,Leon Osman,Adam Forshaw

Neville + Ekotto
DEFENDING: Neville will be the more defensive out of the 2 allowing Ekotto to be able to push on down the flank more often. Both need to be on their toes and close down the wingers at every opportunity.
ATTACKING: Neville is to sit back abit more.

VDV
DEFENDING: We will look to use Fellaini's stamina to good affect today and have him playing the box to box role. This way we have enough to cover at the back as well as getting forward.
ATTACKING: will be attacking today, VDV is at times to alternate moving out to the RW as well to allow coleman to move centrally as this will offer abit of variety in the opposition box.

Vargas + coleman
DEFENDING: Will both track back and help out our fullbacks as they have the stamina to do it.

Defoe + saha
ATTACKING: Defoe and saha will lead from the front. Be big and strong and battle with the CB’s. When they have the ball close down the defence and put them under pressure. Needs to be in constant contact with the players behind.

Starting XI VS PSG Away game
--------------- Szczęsny
Sagna- Vermaelen- Vertonghen -- Tremoulinas
--------------------Wilshere
---------Arteta---------------Banega
------------------ Gourcuff-----------------------
-------Gervinho---------------Van Persie

Subs Bench
Fabianksi
Gibbs
Mertesacker
Frimpong
Jurado
Chamakh

Injuries
Eden Hazard
Carl Jenkinson
Theo Walcott

Team Talk
After last weeks superb win against everton we will be up against a strong PSG side who will be tough to break down and get in our faces so we have to be physically ready for this challenge so we need to do short quick passes

Szczęsny
With PSG being a physical big side id like you to come and collect from crosses

Sagna + Tremoulinas
Today is about being defensively solid so only go forward when we have possession to back up the wingers and drag the midfielders the other way

Vermaelen + Vertonghen
We're going to play a high line today so they can't play the long ball and due to pace up front

Wilshere
we're going to have Wilshere sit in front of the defence and stick onto to anyone who drifts between midfield and our back 4,

Arteta + Banega

Im expecting PSG to play through the centre of midfield so im going to fill it up and negate this

Gourcuff

It's your debut today so i want you to show why we've paid that fee for you by drifting off the forwards and looking for their runs in behind

Gervinho + Van Persie
Gervinho i want you to run in behind their defence with your blistering pace whilst Robin drops off creating the hole for you to run into.

Subs if winning
Take off Gervinho and put on Banega and go to 4-5-1
Subs if drawing
Wilshere off Saviola on

Subs if losing
Chamakh + Saviola + Jurado on for Benayoun + Gervinho + Banega

Arsenal v SCHALKE

--------------Fahrmann--------------------
Uchida--Howedes(C)--Metzelder--Fuchs-----
-------Witsel----Jones----Adam------------
Shaqiri---------------------------Bannan---
-----------------Carroll--------------------

Subs: Gabriel Heinze (CB), Tim Hoogland (RB), Jamie Carragher (CB), Dániel Tőzsér (CM) , Levan Kenia (AM), Alexander Baumjohann (AM), Bojan (CF).

Captain: Howedes
Free kicks: Adam
Penalties: Adam

Tactics

Overview: Right lads, we're up against one of the most dangerous teams in the league. If we are to achieve anything from this game, we must be a solid defensive unit. They have the players to hurt us on the counter attack and we will not hold out for 90 minutes if we stay purely defensive, so a balance between attack and defense is key.

We had a great result against Everton last week but that's in the past and counts for little in this game.

Goalkeeper:
Be strong in the air, don't take risks. Look to start a counter attack if possible. Command the area and organise the wall if the opponents get a free kick within shooting distance.

Defenders:
Uchida and Fuchs: Be wary of the Arsenal wingers, they are very fast, especially Hazard. Work with the CB's to nullify the Arsenal threat. Be cautious when attacking and remember that for this match, defence is more important than attacking, but don't sit back all game.

Howedes and Metzelder: You have the unenviable task of marking the Arsenal forwards. Van Persie is a fantastic striker with excellent movement. Work together to track him but be wary of the other Arsenal forwards. Don't give away free kicks near the box, otherwise they will have a very good chance to score. Be solid, if in doubt boot the ball away and don't try and pass it out of danger. Howedes, lead by example. Be strong.

Midfielders:
Jones: I've set you as a DM to help the CB's out. You have a bit of pace, use it to your advantage when defending. Help out the full backs if they need assistance. Bring some balance to the midfield too. It's a lot to ask, but I have every confidence in you.

Adam: Playmaker as always Charlie. You are the best midfielder in the world, so use that to your advantage. Knock balls up the field to Carroll, attack, defend, do what you want as long as it's sensible and does not endanger the team and try and help Fuchs if he requires it.

Witsel: I've put you on the right hand side, just diagonally left of Shaqiri. Work with him to attack down the right hand side but help out Uchida should he require assistance.

Shaqiri: Welcome to Schalke! I'm throwing you in at the deep end, but I have every confidence you'll swim rather than sink. Attack the left back with Witsel and don't be afraid to have a shot when near the opposition box. I've seen THAT goal against England. You've done it before, you can do it again. Also, look for Carroll if he's in the box

Bannan: Attack the right back and right centre back with your pace. Look for Carroll when he's in the box.

Forward:

Carroll: You are on fire at the moment, having scored in all the games I've managed. Keep it up!! You might feel a little alone up front against Arsenal, but I have complete faith in you. Use your strength and height to worry the centre backs. When the wingers find you, knock the ball down either for them or have a shot.

Subs: If losing after 60 mins: Tőzsér for Witsel, Bojan for Witsel, go to 4-4-2 and attack, attack, attack.
If winning after 70 mins: Hoogland for Shaqiri, go to 5-4-1 and see the game out.

Come on boys! Hooah!

*Sorry if this is a bit jumbled, I am absolutely wrecked at the time of writing*

Everton v Valencia

Injuries- Diego Alves,Cristian Rodriquez,Artiz Aduriz
3 big Injuries for us this week so we are forced into a reshuffle.

Look Back- Last week we were on the losing end of a 4-0 lose which is very disappointing, and I Know that we didn’t play to our full potential. This is something we will have to change quickly, therefore that’s why the starting 11 is more attacking than in previous weeks. WE NEED POINTS QUICKLY therefore this is a must win game, as will be all the games between now and the end of the season.

Starting XI

..........................Gomes...................
Vitor.... Mangala........ Natali.....Sapunaru
Duda…………..Pienaar………Belluschi
…………………Totti…………………
...................Hoarou... Borges.................

Subs-Guaita,Dealbert,Bristo,Albeda,Topal,Feghouli,Jonas

Captain- Totti
Vice Captain- Natali

General Tactics
Keep as tight as possible at the back. Don't do anything stupid and making runs that you can't get back to defend from. We can not afford to lose goals by you doing this. Listen for Calls from Team Mates when they need help and listen to the coaching staff for changes in formation or Tactics throughout the game.

Goalkeeper tactics
Be vocal and organise your defence, make yourself look big and try to catch every ball you have the chance too. Use your agility to make good diving saves, but at all costs try and catch the ball and throw the ball or kick the ball out as quick as possible. If you have a struggle with no defenders being around get to the ball if in your area and kick it out into the stands if possible as this cuts out any threat from there strikers being able to get on the end of it and possibly scoring. DO NOT ASK FOR PASS BACKS, AS THESE CAN BE FATAL IF DONE INCORRECTLY.

Defence Tactics
Stay with your man at all times, if player gets round call for one of the team mates to run in and help out. If in doubt boot the ball out of play and don't try to do anything fancy. AGAIN DO NOT PASS BACK, IF NOTHING IS ON BOOT IT OUT OF PLAY OR UPFIELD, do not give the opposition a chance to latch onto a loose back pass, we really cannot afford it. Do nothing stupid that will get us into trouble.

Midfield Tactics
Try to pass the ball in squares, use the wide men and only make short passes, like the defence don't try anything fancy. wide men try and make runs when you have the chance and unleash a cross into the box. Keep defensive for the majority of the game, But if a chance to be attacking is there than take it with both hands.

Totti Tactics
Totti, You are playing just behind the front 2, this is for you to be attacking and to also help with the centre of defence if you are needed. You are to play passes into the box for Borges and Hoarou, but if you feel you can do it yourself then do so, we need as many attacking options as possible.

Striker Tactics.
Call for ball as early as you see a chance, if the strike partner is in a better position than yourself, play a short pass to them then make a run towards the nearest post to you, you never know a tap in may come your way if goalkeeper drops the ball.

Defending Corners
Pienaar and Belluschi will each stand on a post, Totti and Borges will stay the furthest up field with Totti waiting on the half way line and Borges playing just on the edge of the centre circle in the attacking half of the pitch waiting to set up any counter attack.

We will also leave Totti on edge of area incase the ball drops to him to get the ball back into the box as quick as possible, he is to take the shot if it is on.

Corner Takers
Pienaar/Belluschi

Both takers are to aim for the heads of the tallest players in the box. Once corner has been taken and goal has been scored or the attack has come to an end both centre backs are to make there way back upfield to go back to there defensive duties as quick as possible. We also have the option of putting the ball to the edge of the box for Totti to either shoot from or to get the ball in the box. Dont get in eachothers way as it makes it harder to attack the ball

Subs if Winning
65-Totti for Albeda- A switch to 4-4-2 is to also be called for with albeda coming into central defence.
85- Hoarou for Dealbert- Change of Formation to 5-4-1 is to be called for and everyone is to go as defensive as possible.

Subs if Losing
65- Totti for Jonas- Change of formation to 4-3-3 is to be called for.

Team talk

After a poor draw against a stubborn PSG side we play schalke at home it's time to get back on form against Schalke

Instructions

Szczęsny: I want you to dominate the box as they have an ariel presence

Sagna + tremoulinas : I want you to bomb forward today so then their wingers will have to have to track back.

Vermaelen + Vertonghen: I want a high line played this week as their presence is in the air so further away from the box we keep them the better, Only one go up for the header and the other sweep round for the dropping ball.

Wilshere + Arteta : I want Jack to get onto the ball playing midfielder to stop him playing it up to their forwards, Mikel is going to make late surges through the midfield linking up with Yoann, Eden and Gervinho

Gervinho + Gourcuff + Hazard

I want you all to take on the people infront of you , every now and again i want you to interchance positions so Eden goes to the middle, Yoann right and Gervinho to the left wing etc, I want you all to look for robin's run in behind the defence

Van Persie: It will be hard work today but i believe you can keep on scoring, I want you to run in behind the defence as their not fast at the back, Don't be afraid to drop off the defenders and pull out a space for the midfield to run into

Subs
Winning : Alderweireld + Jurado on for Gourcuff + Arteta go 5-4-1

Drawing: Gourcuff off for Saviola

Losing : Arteta off for Saviola go 4-3-1-2

ROMA TACTICS VS PSG

--------------Stekelenburg

Gonul------Kjaer------Juan------Radu

Marin----De Rossi---Ramsey---Podolski

---------------Lamela

---------------Milito

Subs
Lobont
Kaboul
Lucas
Huddlestone
Dzagoev
Hernandez
Boriello

Formation: 4-4-1-1

Injured players
Marco Cassetti
Mathieu Valbuena
Leandro Greco
Pablo Osvaldo

Genera: Up against PSG today, I know they have a strong midfield so I have Ramsey and De Rossi who I feel are more then capable to outfight them and also the ability to play Football. I will be using both the centre and width to attack from as I have Podolski and Marin playing there. When we have the ball my attacking players will constantly move to create passing space and room.

Stekelenburg, use your size and frame to make the goal look smaller, stand up as long as you can. Any shots that you can not hold on to please push them away from danger so the opposition can not follow up. Always talk to the defenders let them know what is around them. When the opposition put balls into the box if you know you can claim them let the defenders know if you feel that you can't claim them but defenders may not get there punch it away but always let everyone know that you are going.

Gonuk/Radu: When one of you attacks the other will drop back so we always have 3 players at the back constantly. Make overlapping runs to make space for the winger and when you get the ball put it in early. When defending do not dive in, jockey the ball and watch your mantry to push him away from goal or on his weaker foot.

Juan will pick up thier main striker, let him know you are there but don't be forceful. Give them little room to manoevere, close down the gaps quickly so they have to pass backwards. You are strong and quick so I feel you will be able to cope with that. My defenders won't rush out and chase a player if they supposed to marking the other one will pcik him up.

Kjaer will pick up second striker or any other attacking player who comes into his zone. I want Kjaer to use his reading skills too anticipate danger and clear it before it becomes a problem. You can start attacks for us from deep with your good passing range. Do not stay too far from Juan keep it tight, and a decent line not too high or deep up the pitch.

De Rossi will play more defensive, he will close down the players and pressure them into forcing mistakes and passing backwards. You are stronger then thier midfielders and you also have Ramsey who will back you up. Just keep it simple nothing fancy keep the ball ticking for us. Sometimes make a late run into the box and Ramsey will drop back to cover for you.

Ramsey I want him to make the passes forward, he has the energy and drive to play a strong game but also has the ability to open teams up. Look for the wingers who at times will make runs inside the opposition FB. You are the creative force, get forward up the pitch link up with the attackers.

Podolski/Marin at times will swicth wings with each other, look for FB making runs and feed them in. Also look to take on thier FB cut inside and get a shot or look for Ramsey or Lamela who will be around thier. When defending follow where thier FB goes if he pushes up you follow him. Be brave today, run with the ball make things happen for us, variety of crosses.

Lamela will play in the hole, he will make runs of Milito who will look for knock downs aimed at him. Run beyond Milito into the box for any balls that might fall there. Also drop back into midfield to help us when defending so we have numbers there. When they have the ball put pressure on thier defensive midfielders stop them bringing the ball forward which will reduce thier attacks.

Diego Milito our star striker, look to knock the ball onto Lamela, you are strong enough to hold your own against thier CB. Get into the box, you are all about goals, make those last second runs into the back post don't stay in one place move about don't be allowed to be marked. Look for early crosses from our FB's so get in there and use your head.

SUB 65 MIN
Marin off Hernandez on (Fresh legs)

IF WINNING 75 MIN
Ramsey off Lucas on (Another DM with energy)

IF LOSING 75 MIN
Lamela off Boriello on (We go 4-4-2)

IF WINNING 85 MIN
Milito off Huddlestone on (4-5-1 another DM, Huddlestone look to make passes for Boriello on counter)

IF LOSING 82 MIN
Podolski off Dzagoev on (Look for him to create something)

Team Talk

We Managed a draw last week, an improvement on the 3 defeat in the opening day. Today we have another big match up against one of our main rivals, Its the business end of the season so in the words of delia, LETS BE HAVING YOU

In depth Tactic

Mcgregor - We require you to command the area, be vocal and collect all crosses with the 10 yard from your goal. You will be working with Skrtel to organise defence so there is no communication issues

Centre backs - Skrtel you are in charge, work closely with mcgregor and organise the back line, If Roma play one up front you have to man mark wth Sakho dropping, two strikers both have to mark a striker always showing onto weaker foot and stay on feet.

Full backs today you once again have been given the licence to get forward working with wingers and overlapping when needed, But continue to be sensible defensive duties come first.

Song your Job today is to protect the Defence, sit just in of the defence and pressing, Mix up the passes trying to get Menez and gamiero, hernanes onto the ball.

Matuidi, your job is to keep the play moving and will be the more defensive of the two centre midfielders, Once again play a fast pressing game, to force mistakes, use your passing skills to play the ball over the top for gamiero and Menez. if that option is not available dont force it, keep the passing simple with hernanes and song.

Hernanes - you are the link between the midfield and defence if Matuidi or song manage to get the 3 upfront away get up there to support, if not look for the ball use your skill and vision to make the scoring opportunitys, shot when the chance appears

Gamiero and Menez, This is not a free role, you will be pressing the full backs and makng sure they cannot break forward, keep tight and goal side when they are in possesion, Look to get behind the full backs when we are in possesion, you do this we create chances, when the other winger has possesion once again make sure you get to the back post

De Jong - you are the hold up striker today, collect and get the ball out wide, we have to players who have great skill and vision and pace to get the ball into the box, make sure you are there using your predatory instincts to finish the moves.
Subs 65 mins - all occasions

Bodmor for Matuidi

Fesh legs - keep midfield going

Subs 73 Mins if losing

Aimar on for Song

-------------Bodmor-------

Aimar-----Menez---Hernanes----

------De Jong------Gamiero

Sub 77 mins if winning

Danny for De jong

VALENCIA v Schalke

Injuries- Miguel Bristo,David Albeda,Borges

3 Big injuries for us again for us this week which is going to force us into a Reshuffle as all 3 are usually first team players. We have also been able to sign up 2 U21 players to give us the 3 needed for cup games, one of those may have to be atleast on the bench today to cover the injury to Bristo at the Back.
We had a good win over Everton Last week winning 2-0 so lets keep this form going into our game this week. I know this will be a tough game so if anything doesn’t go to plan don’t let your heads drop and keep on going.

Starting XI- 4-4-2

……………….Gomes……………….
Valera…..Mangala.....Natali…Sapunaru
Duda….Pienaar……Topal…Belluschi
……….Rodruiguez…Hoarou……..

Subs- Alves,Martins,Dealbert,Maduro,Feghouli,Totti,Aduriz

Captain- Valera
Vice Captain- Duda

Goal Keeper Tactics
Make your self heard and organise your defence to the way you want it. Try and Catch the ball us much as possible, if you get into trouble, boot the ball out of play so that it gives other players to have time to get back and defend. You have great Agility so use that to your advantage.

Defensive Tactics
Stay as Tight to your men at all times, don’t do anything stupid that will upset things by giving away penalties and possible sending offs. We can not do with suspensions at this late stage of the season. Also do anything you can to not concede goals, Goal line clearances will be a must try if Gomes is out of Position for any reason. DON’T DO ANYTHING STUPID

Midfield Tactics
Play the ball in Downward pointing Triangles this is the quickest way to get down the pitch. Wide men are to use there pace to get round the opponents LB and RB, Cross the ball in as early as possible and as accurate as possible. DON’T DO ANYTHING STUPID

Striker tactics
You Both have decent pace, use this to get round the centre backs. If one of you are in a better position to score than the other use them. If there goalkeeper drops the ball keep your eye on it, and if he doesn’t collect it before you get there have a shot. If a cross comes in try and get your heads on it, there is always a chance of a headed goal.

Defending Corner Tactics
Keep tight to there attacking players, don’t push and pull at them, if you feel you can get it away safely do so and get it up the pitch to Hoarou and Rodriguez who will be standing on the half way line. 3 of you are to stand on the edge of the Box, the rest will stand in the box except those on the half way line. Pienaar and Topal are to stand on a post each.

Attacking Corner Tactics
Centre backs are to come up into the penalty area, with the left back and right back the left back on the half way line. Topal is to stand on the edge of the area where if the ball comes out to him he is to take a shot or to get the ball back into the area quickly. A double bounce of the ball before it being placed will signal a cross, a single bounce will signal the ball going to the edge of the area

Corner Takers
Left- Duda
Right- Belluschi

Free Kick Takers

Defensive Areas
Gomes will take all free kicks in defensive areas upto the half way line
Defenders watch for any miss kicks as these can be fatal if they leave players forward to attack. All other players head for the attacking half.

Attacking Areas
Pienaar will take free kicks from past the half way line upto the edge of the penalty area, where Duda will take over.

Defending Free Kicks
We will use a 5 man wall to the opposite side the kick is being taken from on the side the free kick is being taken from will be a smaller 2 man wall which will also be positioned slightly further back , these walls will be made up of, the 4 defenders and the right Midfielder and the two central defenders. This Leaves us Duda who will stand on the edge of the Centre Circle on our defensive half, and the two strikers, who will stand just inside the centre circle. This is so if a break away is on we have the chance to make something of it.

Penalty Taker
Rodruiguez

When we take penalties all 4 defenders are to move to the half way line with the rest of the team standing on the edge of the box. Be careful not to encroach into the box

Subs If Winning
65mins- Off-Duda On- Maduro- this gives us a bit more of a defensive bite in midfield
80mins- Off- Rodriguez On-Martins- Change to 5-4-1 Formation, with Valera moving to a more central position

Subs if Loseing
65mins- Off- Pienaar On- Aduriz- Change to 4-3-3 Formation

ROMA TACTICS VS ARSENAL

-------------Stekelenburg

Kjaer-----Kaboul-----Juan-----Radu

---------De Rossi---Ledesma

---------------Valbuena

Marin------------------------Podolski

---------------Milito

Subs
Lobont
Dawson
Ramsey
Lucas
Lamela
Dzagoev
Osvaldo

Injured players
Loïc Nego
Gökhan Gönül
Pablo Hernandez
Riccardo Montolivo

Freekick 28 yards or more: Ledsema
Freekick 27 yards or less: Valbuena/Marin
Corner right: Valbuena
Corner right: Valbuena
Penalty: De Rossi

GENERAL: We are up against Arsenal at home this week, I feel we can beat them as we got a draw at the Emirates last time. De Rossi will be man marking Van Persie today, always stay 5 yards around him, close him down and don't give him the option to turn you and get passed but if that does happen we have Kaboul or Juan who can pick him up. Valbuena, Marin, Podolski will always be on the move making runs forward when we attack so it's harder for the opposition to pick them up.

Kjaer will be staying back and very rarley pushing up, he will act as a third CB at times if Arsenal hit the long ball forward. I want him to stand his ground, do not dive in on your man, watch the ball and use your positional sense to move him onto his weaker foot or away from goal. Kjaer will stay back but he has great passing ability to play in the winger and start quick counters.

Juan/Kaboul, if RVP gets passed De Rossi either one of you two will pick him up depending which one is more closer to him and practical. The other one will pick up any other striker or attacker running into the box. I feel I have the right balance between my two CB both in power and pace. Give them little room to manoevere but don't stick so tight that they can skin you. Don't let the gap between you two get so big keep a decent line not too high or too deep. Both CB will go up for corners.

Radu will have more liscence to get forward but will pick his moments, when he does get forward make overlapping runs to create space for our winger. Get crosses in first time for Milito who I've told to be aware off. When defending watch the ball do not rush into the tackle, try to get the winger on his weaker foot or away from goal closing the angle for him to cross.

De Rossi today has been given the man marking role, I want him to stick to RVP wherever he goes, closing him down forcing him into mistakes and rushed passes. I feel you have the dedication and discpline to play this role, get in a postion to stop him getting on his left foot so he will have to use his right foot which RVP has decribed as a "chocolate leg" When you get the ball play it simple to teammates close to you, don't push up keep your position near RVP and let the others do the attacking work.

Ledesma will play as our playmaker, I want him to control the pace and tempo of the game quicken it up when we need to press forward or slow it down when we are on control. Look to get Valbuena through and also look for wingers who are making runs. Always keep the ball ticking and moving. When defending put pressure on thier players who come into our area, if they are close to goal jockey them if they are half way line then put a tackle in and commit.

Valbuena when defending will put pressure on Arsenal DM the guys who start thier attacks, close them down and don't let them pass forward this can reduce the chance of them attacking and limit thier build up play. When going forward target Vertonghens CB partner he won't have played as much and run at him scare him with pace and close control make them commit, look to slip Milito in or make runs off him for a knock down.

Marin I want to run at his man, I know Tremoulinas likes to get forward so I want Marin to make runs behind him and Ledesma will look to play long balls over him. I want Marin to use the width of the pitch and also come inside at times vary between the two, when outside get crosses in for my attackers when coming inside look to link up with Valbuena and make runs inside the box. Help our fullback when defending.

Podolski is good on the wing, look to get crosses in for our attackers and run at the opposition FB. Make runs between the CB and RB Ledesma will look to play you in. Use skills and tricks to beat your man also help back when defending. Vary your crosses diffrent types so the opposition keep guessing.

Milito will knock the ball down for Valbuena, he will make runs of the CB peeling off them getting into the goal area. Do not stand in one place keep moving, it's all about the movement, make last second dash to front/near post take a gamble on the cross, Radu will be putting in early crosses for you so be aware and get in the box quickly. Always look to find space and get into goalscoring positions.

65 MIN
Marin off Lamela on (Fresh legs)

75 MIN SUB IF LOSING
Valbuena off Osvaldo on (We play 4-4-2)

75 MIN IF WINNING
Valbuena off Ramsey on (Energy and passing style of game look to pick through Arsenal)

83 MIN IF LOSING
Ledesma off Dzagoev on (Diffrent type of creativity in middle)

83 MIN IF WINNING
Ledesma off Lucas on (More defensive in the middle)

Viva's Rainbow League: Tactics Submission Empty Re: Viva's Rainbow League: Tactics Submission

Valencia v SCHALKE

--------------Fahrmann--------------------
Uchida--Howedes(C)--Demichelis--Fuchs---
-----------Jones--------C.Adam------------
Shaqiri---------------------------Bannan----
-----------Bojan----------------------------
-------------------Owen---------------------

Subs: Lars Unnerstall(GK), Christoph Metzelder (CB), Tim Hoogland (RB), Khouma Babacar (ST), Dániel Tőzsér (CM) , Levan Kenia (AM), Axel Witsel (CM/AM)

Captain: Howedes
Penalties: Adam
Free kicks: Adam
Corners: Adam

Injuries:
Sergio Escudero
Alexander Baumjohann
Andy Carroll

Overview: After our hammering by Arsenal last week I'm making a change in CB with Metzelder being replaced by Demichelis. If we're wanting to cement a Europa Cup place, we need to win this match but, of course, it won't be easy.

Team tactics: Keep the ball on the ground whenever possible due to the lack of height up front. No Carroll this week which is a big blow to the team but if you keep it on the ground, the midfield is very good with the ball on the ground and can play killer passes.

Fahrmann: Do you really need instructions? Save shots, catch everything catchable and keep the defence in check. Try and start off a counter attack as soon as possible.

Full backs: Defend first and foremost, but attack whenever possible. Back up the wingers or help out the defence, but only one FB attacking at a time please.

Centre backs: Howedes, lead by example and be strong at the back. Don't risk being booked but use your size to rough up the forwards a bit and make them uncomfortable. Demichelis, work with Howedes to stop their attacks.

Jones + Adam: Charlie, go forward this week and use your amazing passing ability to play in Bojan or Owen. Alternatively, find the wingers. Jones, stay back to help the defence out when they need it.

Shaqiri and Bannan: Run at the defence and take them on, if not pass the ball to Adam and he'll try and find the forwards. Use skill and pace in decent amounts to help back up the strikers. When the opposition are attacking, work with the full backs to force them into the middle of the park where Jones and the CB's will mop up. Don't be afraid to swap sides with each other from time to time.

Bojan and Owen: Look for the balls from the wingers and Adam. Run at the defence, try and force them to foul you or make mistakes. Play each other in. You're both deadly finishers so make the chances count.

Subs: 70 mins Shaqiri off, Witsel on
Jones off, Toszer on
Demichelis off, Metzelder on

PSG tactics away at Everton

Formation - 4-2-3-1

----------------Mcgregor---------------
--Debuchy--Sakho---Skrtel--Matheu--
-------------Song------Matuidi--------
-------Menez--hernanes--Aimar----
-------------------Gamiero-------------

Team Talk

Word up team, last week we suffered defeat for the first in weeks, lets prove this a blip and get straight back on the the winning trial, we need to work hard keep a good sequence of results and that hard work starts now.

We face a tough Everton today and have reverted to our successful 4-2-3-1 formation.

Individual Instructions

Mcgregor - Confindence is the Key for any Goalkeeper, go at there Command your area, Be confident and vocal in claiming crosses,

Fullbacks - First rule of full back club is defensive duties first and foremost, If we don't lose goals we don't lose games If the opportunity arises get forgot but dont be cavileier

Centre backs - Sakho you are in charge of organsing the defence, Keep them compact, with a good line not dropping to deep, if Everton play one striker you drop for cover, Skrtel you will man mark the striker if everton play 1 up front and the same striker if they play 2. Both dont dive in and stop them getting shots in by blocking everything.

Song + Matuidi - Matuidi you are rock in that midfield staying compact and protecting the defence, press quickly and work closely with Song to win the ball back. Song you have a slightly more freedoom, But once again your main Role is Defence, DO not eave us short at the back. Song when we have possesion you are the link between our defence unt and offensive unit, We have 3 players playing in the hole between defence and midfiels so there will always be somene availbale.

Menez, Hernanes, Aimar - You are the creative force today, you all have unbeilevable tekkers.

Menez you will drop out to the right to bring us some width always making diaganol runs to the back post without the ball, Hernanes you are the focal point play slightly closer to gameiro to ensure he is not left isolated and with quick one twos we can get him away top use his speed and composure. Aimar you will stay float about, make darting runs here there and using you passing skill to ensure menez, hernanes and gamiero can break,

all three of you play little one twos with each ther to create space and time, with that you are deadly.

When not in possesion press the defense and defensive midfielders win the ball back high up the pitch, remember to be the best we have to out work the best, that is our new motto follow it

Gamiero - as with the attacking midfielders, press, win the ball back high up the pitch, Play on the edge of the defensive, looking for theopportunitys to break, hernanes will be close for one twos to pop the ball over the top, but menez and aimer will not be far away,

good luck out there boys,Lets do this

Subs

70 Mins if losing

75Mins if Winning

Viva's Rainbow League: Tactics Submission Empty Re: Viva's Rainbow League: Tactics Submission

Post by Marky Thu 01 Dec 2011, 8:48 pm

Matchday 9:
Roma v EVERTON

Everton: (4-4-1-1)

-----------------------Howard-------------------------

Hibbert-------Distin-----Papadopoulos------Alba

----------------Gerrard (c)-----Diarra---------------

Coleman------------------------------Bilyaletdinov

-----------------------Donovan-----------------------

-------------------------Saha--------------------------

Subs: Agger, Neville, Cahill, Rocchi, Drenthe, Fred, Defoe

Injured: Craig, Mucha, Mertesacker

Captain: Gerrard
Long range Free kicks: Diarra
Close range Free kicks: Gerrard
Corners: Gerrard
Penalties: Gerrard

Roma are a dangerous side at home, and based on their match last week at home to Arsenal they like to play with a lot of width and pace, with the threat of counter attacking always there.

We will be nullifying the pacy wingers by lining up two banks of 4, with a 4-4-1-1 formation. The back four of Hibbert, Distin, Papadopoulos and Alba will be supported by two holding midfielders in new signings Steven Gerrard and Mahamadou Diarra. These two are excellent at breaking up play and are also very adept at using the ball when in possession. The wingers Seamus Coleman and Diniyar Bilyaletdinov will track back and assist the full backs whenever Roma have possession.

Our attacking threat is mainly based on Louis Saha using all of his strengths as a pacy target man, with link/support from Landon Donovan and support from the wings using Seamus Coleman from the right and Bilyaletdinov from the left as Everton use them in a sudden counter attacking style.

We will also have a genuine threat from setpieces with great headers of the ball in Saha, Papadopoulos and Distin (and later on, from Cahill), and real quality in the delivery from Gerrard.

Subs:
60-65 mins: Fred for Saha (Something different, less of a threat in the air but quicker and makes more runs creating space against tired defenders)

65-70 mins: (If drawing/winning) Drenthe for Bilyaletdinov (Less pace out wide, but more class and calmness. Allows us to play more football on the deck and be smarter in possession as both teams tire)

70-75 mins (if losing): Cahill for Diarra (A more attacking Centre Midfielder, not afraid to get forward to support the attacks, but will leave us more open at the back)

75-80 mins (if losing): Defoe for Coleman (Defoe playing as an extra striker, Donovan moves over to the right flank)

75-80 mins (if drawing/winning): Neville for Coleman (A more composed and more defensive minded player, not to just sit on what we have, more to ensure we don't leave any gaps as the game goes on, filling in for and helping out other defenders as they tire. Neville will play in place of Gerrard with Gerrard moving to the right in place of Coleman)
