So lazy for a gamebreaker.
Poor RWC Alesana.
Outshone today by 75kg Lemi.
What could/should have been.

Eliota is a special player, both for Samoa and Gloucester. Alesana hasn't been in great form for a while now and he takes contact too quickly now and the opposition know this and just take him down. I haven't seen him run over anyone in a while

In general its harder for big polayers to just run through people at international level as they can do at club level. Alice is a frustrating player at times as well, he can come across as lazy and disinterested then sudeenly step it up for the games that matter...for some reason he didnt bother with this one by the sound of it.

A lot of them looked lazy, I just think they've bulked up too much to be capable of running. Smaller players like Lemi and Sapolu were breaking through with ease. I was very impressed with the skill of the Samoans, not just relying on big hits but playing some beautiful stuff.

To be fair I did think that Samoa looked a bit 'one paced' against Wales and that a lightweight speedster (i.e. Lemi) would have added a lot to their attacking options.

Tuilagi is one dimensional, when that doesn't work he has little else to offer and can be a penalty machine when he throws his toys out of his pram. Bye Bye Alice, enjoy the flight thumbsup
