I'm so Excited!! in a silly poetic way

So there we go the group stages all done
Now it's time to start the real fun
The lesser nations start their long treks home
Reputations enhanced, some real progress shown
The Georgians so big, so physical and oh so strong
Will surely get a scalp before to long
The tartan boys yes heartbroken but they tried their best
They came up just short in their final English test
But now it's onward and upwards for the final eight
Four massive games, I can't really wait
My team the Taffs they're looking fine
They seem to be maturing like a vintage wine
But the Irish themselves have hit some form
They won't roll over, they won't conform
England, France a game to close to call
Often beginning or ending with an Anglo-Franco brawl
The French yes inconsistent, but that don't mean a thing
The English controversially still haunted by an alleged Royal fling
Come next week we'll be losing a Southern Hemisphere giant
A colossal game with two teams defiant
The Aussies will run and they'll play with flair
The Springboks will welcome them into their forward lair
And finally we have the Pumas and All Blacks
Can the Argies really stop the Kiwis in their tracks
Even though denied the great Dan Carter
They'll be to good and play oh so smarter
So roll on next week I'm so excited
It's on the telly and your all invited
