I've gone for Dolph Ziggler - he's had a super impressive year for me, and his rapport with Vickie is excellent

I too have gone for Dolph he has upped his game greatly as of late and is showing promise on the mic which was his only criticism for me and his match with Orton was fantastic, I predict Dolph getting the push to the main event within the next 12 months

HHH by a country mile for me. His accomplishments, stature and talent are head and shoulders above the other 5. He's a huge draw, he's great on the stick and i rate him as one of the best ever to play both heel and face to such high standards.
Its surely a no contest.

Went for Dolph because I am looking at it on recent performance and recently Trips hasn't been involved in the ring while Dolph has really been putting in a good shift.
Based on past performance HHH would easily walk it, but on the present and future potential I think that Dolph gets it.
N.B. I do want to say that I am a fan of HHH and feel that he was a great heel performer and I think can be a very good "COO". But I am basing this on abilities as a wrestler as opposed to non-wrestler.

Have to go with Trips.
He gets a lot of heat with the IWC for his political games, but underneath all of that, he is a really talented guy. He's fantastic on the mic (and has been fantastic in the recent conspiracy angle) and his good in ring.
He is intense with his delivery and can really sell a story.
Honourable mention to Dolph, but he's just not at that level yet.

I don't think Triple H has ever been a great Main Event face, I thought he was brilliant in 98/99 as face leader of DX but since then he just never came across as a likeable face for me

I definately prefer his work as a heel, but how many faces would give anything to get the reaction HHH gets as a face? The pop he got on his return in 2002, and at Summerslam in 2007 suggests that he is fairly likeable. Not to mention the reaction he's been getting since becoming COO.

He definitely gets the pop, personally I think its more down to his association with DX, not in 02 though, he was hot as hell from 99-02

I've gone with Triple H, he's the guy that could fill most of the top spots, be it heel or face he could do both. I'm not a huge fan of Trips, and I do like Dolph, but I don't think he is at a level yet where we can honestly say he is better than Triple H.

Re: V2 WCC Round 1 Group 4
That was a difficult round as I genuinely like every single one of the options.
Always been a massive HHH fan even though I know he is despised by many.
Austin Aries; Unbelievably charismatic and great worked.
Dolph Ziggler; My pick and on the basis that over the last year he has proved that he has got what it takes to be at the top. His match with Edge at the Rumble will love long in the memory, great worker and if he improved his mic skills he'd be red hot.
Charlie Haas; fantastic wrestler, great mat skills but his charisma lets him down so badly.
Zack Ryder; Massive credit to the guy on the way he has pushed himself into the spotlight. Very innovative and definitely deserves spot on roster.
Mark Briscoe; grade A nut job and always pulls out the stops. I'd have loved a Briscoe v Dudley's feud, ultra violent and the promos would have been sick!

Re: V2 WCC Round 1 Group 4
While HHH is an all round great on his day, I am going to stay true to the spirit of the old 606 world cups and pick more on recent form, and however good the 4 matches HHH has wrestled in the past year and a half, it is still only 4 matches in the past year and a half.
With this in mind I opted for Austin Aries
Was tempted to go for Ziggler, the guy has a lot of potential but he isn't quite up to the same all round level as Aries, particuarly on the mic where he has improved but still isn't natural, Ryder is an entertaining guy but outside his youtube shows he hasn't really set the wrestling world alight, Hass is an awesome worker but unfortunatly has the charisma of a wet fish, he and Shelton really were made for each other, and Mark Briscoe while spectacular to watch in the ring isn't paricuarly refined on the mic and I associate him far too closely with his brother to judge him on his own merits
And so that leaves me with Aries, undoubtedly he is a superb wrestler and talker, his work in TNA so far has been very good and carries the mantle of champion well, His ROH title reign still lives fondly in the memory and after leaving ROH, snippets I gathered of his work in Evolve and DG:USA were of a similar standard.
