England favourites to win RWC 2011
England are the 6 Nations champions and have the best world cup record out of the Northern Hemisphere teams. Therefore they are most likely to make the final.
There they are most likely to come up against New Zealand which despite being the no.1 ranked team usually choke at world cups.
So England are likely to win the RWC 2011.
If they some how meet Australia in the final then, despite them being ranked 2 in the world, England are most likely to win as they have dominated Australia in their last two games home and away.
So England are likely to win the RWC 2011.
If they some how meet South Africa in the final then, despite them being ranked 3 in the world, England have never lost to South Africa with Manu Tuilagi on the field.
So England are like to win the RWC 2011.

Ngan boy have you been consulting the mystic sheep,or are you on some strange substance?
6Ns or 3Ns form has little to do with RWCs,Ireland beat them in the 6Ns,Wales have won and lost this year to England.
England have yet to beat NZ in a RWC,in2007 they lost 4 times to the Boks.
Australia are a lot better than 2010.
Has Manu Tuilagi the presence yet of his elder brother the Boks and wales dealt with him.
Has he met M`A Nonu,or Sonny Boy Williams yet?great potential but not yet
the finished article.
BUT I agree England has as good a chance of winning it as ANY of the last eight.

Very true - but some facts you have forgotten.
Manu has a 100% winning record against SA.
Manu has a 100% winning record for England.
Even Chuck Norris is scared of Manu.
Manu is a Terminator T7000 sent back in time to prevent NZ winning the World Cup.
Come the final MJ will select just one player - Manu - who will of course be victorious.

Re: England favourites to win RWC 2011
I've already predicted the rest of the world cup, using the same system that I used to predict Tonga's victory over France, to within 2 points, and Ireland's victory over Australia.
I've put the results of the rest of the games in a thread under the rugby section with RWC 2011 Results (Spoiler) and the results themselves are wrapped in a spoiler in case someone inadvertantly strays in there and has the rest of the competition ruined for them.
If you want to end the silly debates or you can't bear the suspense, you can pop in there and check out how your team does.
Just please don't start cross-posting it, it will just ruin the world cup for everyone else.

But remember England are unbeaten in southern hemisphere RWC matches since the 1995 semi final against New Zealand, so history is clearly on our side.
Only problem is that the All Blacks are undefeated in RWC matches in New Zealand ever, so they also have history on their side...

It's ok the chances of an England SA game in this tournament are very remote.

Peter seabiscuit wheeler hasn't Manu Tuilagi only played one game against Saracens? He scored a try in that game.
Manu Tuilagi missed the Aviva Premiership Final. No prizes for guessing why. I genuinely feel that if Manu was there it could have made a difference.
Also Manu didn't play in the latest Tigers game against Saracens. If he did it would have been Manu 55 Saracens 50. 17 out of the 23 were EQ.

Its actually £4800, its not our fault the NZ $ is monopoly money, $10,000 sounds like an awful lot until you compare it to a proper currency.

Remember when it used to be 4:1 ? then 3:1 ? Man the pound sure 'aint worth what it used to be!
Actually the £4,800 is an inaccurate wholesale conversion, it's actually just under 2:1 whole sale.
Imagine if the Euro actually tanks when Greece and Italy default... the pound might sink to parity with the dollar.
What would the Barmy Army sing then? "we almost get one dollar for the pound." ?
