Re: European Indoor Championships
Kathy Cook - 11.10(age 21, 1981)
Jodie Williams - 11.24(age 16, 2010)
I think Jodie is well on her way to catching Kathy's PB's, and Montell Douglas' British Record. Mike McFarlane knows what he's doing - I think his legacy speaks for itself. He'll take good care of her.

Re: European Indoor Championships
Okay, GB did do well, and the venue was Paris, so no home advantage for us.
But am I the only one with a nagging feeling that the French - who of course expected to land the 2012 Games - have developed rather more gold medal prospects in the meantime than Team GB?

Re: European Indoor Championships
An outstanding athlete, possibly the next cathy Cook, she is so naturally talented that you would have to be a particularly bad coach not to get her to the very top. I wonder if she will venture into the world of 400m running?

The men's 60m final where Francis Obikwelu and Dwain Chambers were separated by the narrowest of margins on the line. Watch how much stronger is Chambers through the second half of the race compared to previous seasons:

Finally, here's the men's 800m final with Andie Osagie narrowly missing out on the medals in the wake of a double Polish triumph in the shape of Ksczot and Lewandowski:
