Have you ever thought
What would happen if a wrestler took a blade to the ring, taped to his wrist or something but accidentally fell on it?

Re: Have you ever thought
He'd cut his wrists.
What would happen if he hid the blade in his shorts? Anal bleeding?

It would not hurt them as it is too small. Only if it went in their eye. We are not talking about a "John Rambo" type blade.

Do they not use tape or something to stop that from happening and some have the ref hold onto it until its neeeded to wasnt there an incident with one of the WWE refs clearly handing it over or dropping it on camera

No it is smaller than that. It is literally a corner piece of a razor blade, that is taped to the wrists, usually disguised with wrist bandages that the wrestler usually wears. The top of the forehead will bleed a lot, even with a minor cut from a blade.

i think there would be a considerable amount of tape between the blade and his wrist

Oh, is that how they do it?
I've seen matches end with one or more guys bleeding and thought they were actually doing "real" damage to each other (as in "Oops - didn't pull that punch enough").
I guess the bruises are real though, huh?
I can speak from experience about head wounds though. As a kid I caught my head on a coat peg at school and ended up with blood all over my shirt. Looked like I'd spilt paint on myself.

Yeah dyre that's how they do it, after being hit my a chair or something the attacking wrestler will usually show boat or something to distract the crown and give the blading wrestler a couple of seconds to remove the blade and cut themselves or the ref when going over to see if he is all right is actually handing him the blade.
However accidents still happen like with Rhodes the other week.

Re: Have you ever thought
Basically there are two ways to do this:
a) they "juice" which is where they take the little razor blade and cut themselves open. The cut is so fine that it often closes by the end of the match and that is why in those situations you will often see the guy who has bladed not be bleeding come the end of the match if the incident happened at the beginning
b) they bleed the hard way (i.e. they are legitimately cut) often this will be deeper and more violent causing much more blood loss like the Rhodes incident or one of the most brutal being Eddie Guerrero against JBL at Judgment Day all those years ago.

Was that a blade job, but a real deep blade job, or was it a genuine cut from the chair shot?

Re: Have you ever thought
from what ive heard it wasnt a blade moment just that the chair managed to hit an artery and it burst which would make sense the way it poured out of him

Re: Have you ever thought
Joey Mercury's nose being busted also springs to mind as a non-blade incident
They also use blood capsules quite a bit

Re: Have you ever thought
Eddies was a botched blade job. He made an arse of it.
Blood capsules are mostly used to show internal bleeding.
Cody Rhodes is a good recent example of a non-blade job.
