Devasted for Ireland. we've played so well but I think we've been unlucky to come across a Welsh side that are so hot right now.

We made some mistakes at key times but overall Wales always looked in control and it looked like no matter what we did they would come back at us.

We weren't allowed to play tonight because the Welsh defence put so much pressure on us.

When they had the ball we just couldn't hold them. Too much power and energy.

Ireland got suckered in to playing too much rugby after the early try. With ROG starting they had to kick every point opportunity and keep on pinning them back, not try and run the ball from their half. Starve them of the ball, don't try anything flash, look to frustrate them and draw the penalties.

Key difference in this was that Wales forced irish gameplan, usually we come out of the traps slow but not today

Only one team wanted this. Wales very impressive at the basics.

Just didnt happen for ireland. Mistakes, poor tackling, no creativity.
