RFU's Dream Team?
I heard Iain Robertson on 5Live last night while driving home from work.
He seemed to suggest that SCW was amenable to returning to the England set-up (even though "Sqeeky" Andrew has been given the top job back again). He did not mention when he would like to return, if offered a post, being as SCW has stated he want to see the BOC job through to the Olympics.
What he did say was that SCW wants to appoint as his assistant coaches:
Jake White & Eddie Jones.

Really!
I can't see those three working together.
Nick Mallett has done a good job with Italy he'd be worth a go if MJ jumps ship.
plus he was born in England.

Jones worked with White during the 07 campaign.
However i agree - cannot see the egos and ambitions that each of those will have surviving in one room for long.
Nick Mallet has done a good job with a team with limited abilities - so yes could be a perfect fit with England. While we moan about the coaches, the ability of English players both in and outside of teh squad is low.

Mallet seems to be a good coach but whenever I hear his name I think of one thing........................bergamasco at scrum half

True that was a bad call, but we didn't see what was going on in training maybe he did ok at scrum half.
Plus Mallett was born in England and likes his forward play which lets face it is all we're are good at, not counting this world cup.
