Pot,
For more of a balance I would put Smith in with Roberts and from a totally biased POV would have Charteris in over Nallet.

I'd take Priestland over Trinh-Duc simply because the Frenchman hasn't been outstanding and can be hit and miss. With a risky player like Cooper I'd take a less spectacular fly half as sub.

Good call on Priestland's current form.

I'd certainly have trinh duc over Cooper. I might even have Phillips over Weepu after the Ireland game and Halfpenny at FB. good looking team though.

Hmmm, a dream team of players left in the tournament (not injured), based on form thus far.
1.Jenkins 2.Moore 3.Mas 4.Thorn 5.Horwill 6.Kaino 7.Warburton 8.Read 9.Weepu 10.Priestland 11.Clerc 12.Roberts 13.Nonu 14.North 15.Dagg
And those knocked out:
1.Beast 2.Du Plessis 3.Murray 4.Matfield 5.POC 6.Ferris 7.O'Brien 8.Parisse 9. Du Preez 10.Steyn 11.Amorosino 12.De Villiers 13.Tuilagi 14.Bowe 15.Masi

Trinh Duc hasn't started any big games. Not sure how you can really pick him on form this tournament. Priestland, quite remarkably, is the form 10 I'd say. Cooper was dreadful in the second half on Sunday, totally lost his cool.

I'm constantly amazed by the number of people that overlook Smith at centre. He's the best centre in this tournamant and has been the best centre in the world for a few years.

Nah, Weepu was outstanding against Argentina, he was the heartbeat of the NZ side that day. Phillips agression and ability to act as an additional flanker certainly gave Wales a boost against Ireland but Weepu has much better all round footballing skills and a superior pass.

If you want a man to organise your midfield Conrad Smith is one of the finest, a real leader in the centre of the park and despite being of very ordinary proportions (he's not a big bloke) he is excellent in defence and attack.

15-9 Dagg, (that's a Kiwi word for the Poopie that congregates on the wool by a sheep's arse isn't it) Clerc, Smith, Nonu, O'Connor, Trinh-Duc, Weepu
1-8 Jenkins, Bennet (yes I know!) Jones, Thorn, Horwill, Kaino, Warburton, Reed
16-22 Franks, Moore, Charteris, Lydiate, Yachvilli, Hook (Utility) Jane.

Re: Semi-finalists mixed 22
Fred Dagg would be a good bet in the forwards.
Have no problem with Roberts in at 12 though would put Smith where he plays best. Put Nonu in at 10 just for s**ts and giggles and that saves the awkward question of who is the next best flyhalf after Carter.
I´d put Hardinoquoy in for Read because I have a lot of time for that player.
Give Cowan the 9 shirt but have team orders for nobody to let him touch it the whole game. Nonu to put the ball into the scrums and put Cowan in a tackle bag outfit.

Your Team using the 4 Nations Left in the World Cup
Using the players left in the World Cup make up your personal choice 15. Would love to see your choices.
Here is mine. I have put a * next to those choice that I really don't feel strongly about:
1) Gethin Jenkins
2) Servat * - was close between him and Mealamu
3) Adam Jones
4) Brad Thorn * - AWJ hot on heels
5) Charteris
6) Kaino
7) WARburton
8) Harinordoquy * - this was diffcult because I think all four 8s left have been brilliant
9) Phillips * - Very close with Genia and Parra but for me Phillips smashing over Sean O'Brien last week sealed it, he's fired up!
10) Priestland
11) *** Can't decide ( Clerc, Shane or one of the many amazing Kiwi flyers ) because I'm Welsh I'll just go with Shane
12) Roberts
13) Smith * Although Adam Ashley-Cooper and Jon Davies were very close for me
14) NORTH
15) Beale
