The GG is just trying to get some anti French feeling going. A bit of opportunism by him.

French were just being diplomatic and not giving the ABs any reason to feel agrieved

Wow, this news was out on Monday morning and GG has only just got his fangs into it.

The fact that it was said before the Semi final was a bit odd but i still think that its a very nice gesture and i cant see why TGG has brought it up to be honest. Another poor attempt at wumming. Its sad when a legendary wummer like TGG starts loosing form

And you can be sure he didn't call a press conference just to say it, he was asked about it by a journalist because of the shirty (see what I did there?) history between the two.

It is a very sporting gesture,2007 the worse thing[apart from defeat]was the AB away strip.

yep i get ya last point-press constamntly asking leading questions- then reporting as if its the only point of the conversation- its funny though i know how bad the press are in the whole world- but sometimes you start believeing what you are told every second of the day on these baords- that its only the english press!!
