"Rude" and "Arrogant" England in RWC Commercial Debacle
First topic message reminder :
England were mocked for their humiliatingly premature "6 Nations Grand Slam" promotion, now sponsors Land Rover are upset at the disrespect shown by the England team during the mid-competition film-shoot.
The calamitous day was ruined by the "rude", "arrogant" England players who insulted staff, local people and ignored local road safety laws. Something that has caused particular disgust due to NZ's struggle with a high road accident rate which officials feel the England squad had made light of.
The day was a commercial failure for the sponsors, and they have registered a formal complaint about the England squad with the IRB apparently, who may now levy a hefty fine for violation of sponsorship agreements.

It's certainly hard to imagine the Welsh side behaving in this way, and they've earned themselves a semi-final spot.

Brain Moore and Phil vickery have both talked about the disgust and sheer stupidity of what the English lads did.
All this they are only young! so what just like Vickery said your a professional and you must behave like one,you have plenty of time to drink and have fun with friends, this is the world stage and all eyes are on your every move so you must stay away from anything that will cause headlines.
He is right just some common sense.
Yes and before you start Andy Powells buggy ride and all the other Welsh lads bad and unacceptable behaviour was an embarrassment it wasn't funny and Gatland came down hard on them and give out match bans.
Jonno wouldn't dare ban Manu because he is to proud to risk losing the opening games in the six nations by axing his only real attacking threat player.
Manu knows it aswell.

Well it would be difficult to find much evidence of good coverage but who's fault is that ?
The sad thing is that the nonsense had and still is getting so much coverage.

Quite, so stop moaning that they dont talk about Wales or the time or youd have to put up with drivel about them instead.
The problem here isnt who is being covered, its the drivel the media wants to put across rather than actually offer any serious analysis of the rugby play.

If England going to a Dwarf Throwing event at a club is a poor reflection on English Rugby. Surely the fact that managed to find a club in New Zealand that in 2011, hosts such an event is just as poor a reflection on New Zealand!
