Its not hard CF, no offence but a poor squad and deduct the injuries its obvious. Ill also go with Arseshavin on the left and Kim K as centre AM or vica versa, both can play in either position but I reckon Arseshavin left as Kim K isnt so versitle, dont get me wrong he can play both his his stronger is centre where as Arseshavin is Poopie where ever he plays Laugh

On paper you had the strongest side Nando (Juve possibly matching), but you've certainly improved on it.

Thats all down to Chiellini Laugh

I know my def is an issue, I just cant seem to pick up any good defenders which I understand as ppl dont want to sell. Going to have to get through the next two games and dip in the fgns when they open again. My own fault for not strengthening when the window was open

Bayer Leverkusen v Tottenham

Tottenham solid all over the park and will comfortably tame any Leverkusen attacks.

both sides creative in midfeidl, but strong defences, keep out the strikers

Good entertaining game by both teams, both went forward and created chances but I feel it was the experience of the Bayer manager that got them the win. Spurs can take confidence that they gave a good game and I see them improving.

Lverkusen look strong, the former tottenham contingent could be the reason for a win here

Gabbys pace out did the Spurs CB's and he caused them alot of problems. Spurs didnt really get into the game with Rolfes and Sandro really dominating the midfield

Very close fought encounter can't split them

A good match with both teams having exciting width and speed

Leverkusen surged forward but with Agbonlahor having a tough time alone up front and Ballack being marked tightly the pair struggled to make an impact. They used their width well but I felt at times Bale and Lennon staying wide, Ballack marked out the game there seemed missing some drive forward from the centre of midfield. Spurs did well, first match for new manager and the decision to defend and play for a point made them hard to break down. Lennon troubled Gallas with his pace but with Agbonlahor and Ballack being outnumbered with no more support meant Spurs tactics have worked there.

Fiorentina v Porto

Fiorentina were very well organised. Everyone knew their job and did their job for each other, played like a team and their spirt allowed them a comfertable win. Scouted Porto well and pretty much knew what was coming from their attack. Elia & Cerci did brilliant in their attacking of the Porto fullbacks, really showed there not as good as the Porto manager thinks. Shaqiri picked up straigh from where Elia left and caused havoc in his favoured position.
Porto problem seem to come with their manager over rating his own players and not showing enough respect to Fiorentina:
"best FBs in this league" - referance to their fullbacks which is up for debate.
"you play regularly in the Spain team with the likes of Iniesta, Xavi and Fabregas" - referance to Javi Martinez which I feel is False!!! He was at a different spanish club team and has less then 10 international caps, nothing regular about that "Simply the best wide force in the league without a shadow of a doubt" - Once again that is open for debate. Also tactics like "run the Fiorentina back line ragged today, look to bring the ball in and hit shots at every opportunity" and "Look to link up with the in runs from the wingers, Look for the goalie to fumble long range shots and be ready to poach on these loose balls" were the ONLY instructions/tactics in 4 lines of text to a striker. Very disapointing and Fiorentina deserve the win.

with both teams playing one up front there won't be a lot of goals in this one

Fio have too much class for this under strength porto side

Will be a close match i think both teams are well instructed, and the defenses and midfield will come out mainly on top

Fiorentina bossed the midfield but Portos front line were in great form especially the wingers Hulk and Gaitan

A very close match with the 2 strongest sides in the league ended all square with Porto playing on the counter catching Fiorentina out

A game which was one by the tactics, Fiorentina did thier homework on Porto and slowed down the flow of thier attack. The midfield trio worked very well, Porto couldn't get into the game at times.

The midfield of Fiorentina exploits the attacking nature of Porto. Modric MOTM.

Two quality sides but Fiorentina lack a quality ball winner in the middle of the park for me. Too much pace in the forward line for Fiorentina to even come close to controlling.

Villareal v Atletico

Tough to say how atleico will take this one, but am expecting a draw.

Villareal have more complete instructions, with Pastore and diego playing in centre midfield, they will be unlikely to track runs of the villareal attackings Mids.

A close game and in the end I couldn't split the pair

Well thought out tactics which can't be said for athletico would dominate possesion

Poor tactics from Athletico, Villereal's midfield cancel out any attacks.

Villareal had a straight forward win here. There just about had enough direction and organisation to know what they were doing. Against the top teams they will struggle.
Atletico need more direction. I felt the two potencial playmakers, most creative players, Diego & Pastore were too deep for their own liking. Atletico need improved tactics and are currenly being wasted by their manager Bull. If this carrys on players will become fustrated come end of season.

Again lack of tactics cost Athletico, the midfield of Diego and Pastore was not really going to work and Rodwell dominated the midfield.

Frustrating draw for both sides

Very close, two quite poor sides in my opinion in terms of defence but both have quality going forward so goals galore with Athletico edging it.

I am not a fan of the diamond unless you have players made for that position and your team does not have that.

I think you would be better of playing this midfield

--------------Rolfes-----Ballack
Lennon-------------------------------Bale

The wingers playing a bt infront of the two centre mids. An Vucinic playing in a free role or behind Agbonlahor. Safe dred.

she used to do this before they made her wrestle
Is this going to trigger some alarm in the Nerd Centre and get me in trouble at work???

Mighty, ill be having:
France to beat New Zealand @ 13/2 - £5
Nani to score first 8/1 £5 e/w
Manchester United 2-1 @ 15/2 £5
A Player Sent Off @ 2/1 few quid

im trying to find a special where i can get odd on a goal after the 75th minute as the last 3 or 4 fixtures I think have had one.

Villa, Bolton, Newcastle @ 11/2 few quid

Wolves, Villa, Bolton all to draw as a Patent bet 50p = £3.50 total which covers singles, doubles and trebles. So two in im in profit.

Also Gabby and Ba to score first double 32/1 £2 e/w so if they score anytime then I get £6 something

Sunday: Fulham Everton draw, Spurs and chelsea @ 15/2
