Heath Slater - Your Thoughts?

First topic message reminder :

I've been discussing on other threads the merits of Heath Slater, and his potential within the WWE, and have been suprised to come up against quite a lot of negativity towards the one man rock band.

For me Heath is a bright star on the Smackdown undercard, and has shown the potential to be a future star at maybe as high a level as the Intercontinental title. He's got a unique look. He's good in the ring, and on the mic. He's cocky and brash. And he's already made a name for himself within the Nexus and the Corre.

For me it's a real shame that he and Justin Gabriel seem to have distanced themselves from each other, because they were a good pairing, and could have gone on to be one of WWE's great tag teams. And maybe this is the division which holds the most hope for Slater long term.

I think Slater deserves to make an impact in WWE in 2012, whether it be as a solo act, or as part of a tag team, and I really hope he seizes any opportunity he is given to make it so.

What are your thoughts on Heath Slater?

Does he have a future with the WWE?
Or has any hope been extinguished by his Wellness Policy violation?

I've just had a thought - does Google operate on some sort of cookies or something? So it would recommend this thread higher up to me, because I'm always on it - but lower down to general other people? Rendering my mission a completely useless waste of time?

How about my idea……. Digging up old bovine carcases that were buried during the BSE crisis, and selling them on as tenderised chunks of meat. I got my idea from the amount of times Slater has been buried on Superstars only for ED to repackage him as the next best thing.

They always say - "No-one polarises opinion like John Cena" like its a good thing. Well this thread shows a polarisation of opinion for Heath Slater, so that must also be a good thing. Everyone who is anyone in the world of professional wrestling would rather be discussed than ignored.

That's right Lex. Heath is now free to return. And I am indeed excited! I didn't want to post anything in case I was accused of bumping my article back to the top to collect a little more debris.

I can't wait to see if he is on Smackdown next week! Maybe even Survivor Series???

Maybe not - but we can hope.

I can tell you're excited too. Secretly, I think everyone is now onboard the one man rock bandwagon! (Seriously, if he wants any of these lines for t-shirts, he's more than welcome)

I doubt they'll make him FD, Twist. He doesn't look too hot with numbers. He doesn't even know how many people you need for a band.

I've just had an idea.... Nash said he wanted to get "the band" back together in his promo last week. Maybe he'll recruit Slater and Gabriel as help to take out Trips?
