Curry Cup
Hi,Biltong interesting that" King "carlos Spencer appears to be nurturing a new young Fly Half at the Golden Lions, isn`t John Mitchell involved there too,?
That would be something if they were somewhere in the Spring bok frame as coaches[Perhaps under a head Coach].Briefly in ther own ways they a short
Golden era with the All Blacks 2001-3.Certianly are capable of getting some of your young talented players to a more balanced attack instead of just Route 1.

Re: Curry Cup
Alan, I am not sure anyone wants the bok job, a number of suspects have already stated they aren't interested which leads me to beleive Allister Coetzee is the one left over by default.
Mitchell and Spencer seems not be be interested either,
It lloks like SARU is not an administration people want to work for which is a sign of how they are percieved. So it seems we will have yet another coach who has no inclination to play attacking rugby.

Re: Curry Cup
Geez thats a point. To date theyve rerlied heavily on the senior players many of whom will be leaving. Thats terrible if thats the case and I can see that scaring away overseas incumbants who wont want the political side of the position.
However, the loss will stir the fire in the bellies of some people in important places surely.

OK, I will help you out, mate. I will take the Springbok job if they move Bok HQ to Cape Town. The weather is great and the women are better than the weather. My wife can stay home.biltongbek wrote:I am not sure anyone wants the bok job.

Re: Curry Cup
Seen as how i was at that 'bloodgate ' match i'll do the capsule coach...
My salary requirements are sunblock(for my pale irish skin), shorts with hidden pockets for the capsules, my body weight in beer (and snacks) every week and somewhere to sleep it off!

Re: Curry Cup
Well boys, thanks for the offer, I do however need to stage a hostile take over at the corporate suites of SARU before I will be able to collect CV's.
My first priority will be to clean out from top to bottom, in my view John Mitchell has the job for head coach, but the minor placings are yet to be determined.

Re: Curry Cup
Biltongbek,
Sorry Dude, we just did that. Please rest assured we will keep the best interests of Bokke Rugby and Springbok Nation close to our hearts.
Since you are so passionate about your lads, I think you can be one of the two cheerleader coaches. And since you write so well, you will also have to double-duty as the Spin Doctor, which has the highest salary since it the most needed position.
Keep in mind the purpose of this. We want to live in Cape Town for a while.

Re: Curry Cup
As long as I can have a private interview with each prospective cheerleader I can see no problem with that.
