The Harbinger's End of Season Top Twenty
It’s that time of year again folks, time for my alter-ego to show his teeth. This is mainly for a bit of fun and it’s the Harbinger’s take on the key events this year. If anyone can come up with their own, please feel to add your 2 penn’th. Here goes with a late entry just creeping in:
20. Racist Friend - The Specials – dedicated to Steve ‘Mighty Mouth’ Williams
(This guy just keeps covering himself in glory – perhaps he could be the new bag man for John Terry on those corporate events)
19. Let’s Jump the Broomstick - Brenda Lee – dedicated to Adam Scott
(Even the length of Adam’s flat-stick won’t put enough distance between himself and his tactless caddy methinks)
18. All the Young Dudes – Mott the Hoople – dedicated to Rory, Rickie, Jason & Matteo
(The new order – these four will win a hatful over the next decade)
17. Only Sixteen – Sam Cooke – dedicated to Kevin Na
(Sixteen shots from the man that makes watching spittle roll down a window an exciting event. The round just flies by with this playing partner in tow)
16. Sorry seems to be the hardest word – Elton John – dedicated to Londonjonnyo
(The forum is just a haven of tranquillity without LJ. Everyone just chillin out and supping herbal tea and making wistful enlightened comments…….Ommmmhhh)
15. The Day Before Yesterday’s Man – Supernaturals – dedicated to Tiger Woods
(Didn’t Steve Williams used to caddy for him once upon a time?)
14. Angels with Dirty Faces – Sham 69 – dedicated to American Solheim Cup Team
(Not just their faces which were dirty methinks………)
13. Nowhere Man – The Beatles – dedicated to Sandy Lyle
(You’ve got two hopes of ever being RC captain and one of them’s a deceased entertainer who had a golf event named after him and the other is No F*****G….)
12. Whiskey in the Jar – Thin Lizzy – dedicated to Rory McIlroy / Darren Clark
(You can just imagine the hangover after that little soiree)
11. Foxy Lady – Jimmy Hendrix – dedicated to Megan ‘the’ Fox
(The official 606v2 pin-up girl)
10. With you I’m B(j)orn Again – Billy Preston – dedicated to Thomas Bjorn
(Couldn’t resist this one haha)
9. If I Ruled the World – Tony Bennett – dedicated to Donald Trump
(Sadly for you, the Chinese actually rule the world)
8. Pretty in Pink – Psychedelic Furs – dedicated to Paula Creamer
(Where’s Kermit that’s what I want to know)
7. I missed again – Phil Collins – dedicated to Lee Westwood
(If only he could putt like Luke……or even Oldshanker for that matter)
6. It’s Growing – The Temptations – dedicated to 606V2
(From little acorns….)
5. Everybody wants to Rule the World – Tears for Fears – dedicated to Luke Donald
(Top Banana - you don't have to be a gorilla to win trophies)
4. The Oldest Swinger in Town – Fred Wedlock – dedicated to Darren Clark
(I can guarantee no one under 40 years old will get this haha)
3. You’re the one for me Fatty – Morrisey – dedicated to Chubby Chandler
(Unless your Rory. Midgetmac changes manager, girlfriend even continents in an augenblick)
2. I Like to Move It – Reel 2 Real – dedicated to Elliot Saltman
(No-one told him he couldn’t mark his ball with a frisbee)
1. Tribute to a King – William Bell – dedicated to Seve Ballesteros
(Unforgettable, inspirational, unique and irreplaceable)
20. Racist Friend - The Specials – dedicated to Steve ‘Mighty Mouth’ Williams

Woah don't "diss" Bella. Everyone on here knows Bella is the pinnacle of any mans carnal aspirations she is also beyond reproach and something we all hope to achieve but remains that step to far. For bella we are not worthy and look on in awe.
Now yankee for blasphemimg against our beloved bella please go wash your mouth out with soap, sit in a dark corner of a queit room and have a word with yourself..

Ok smartypants.... you come up with a viable dedication for the beautiful Bella and she can be included on the 'bubbling under' list

Super sexy as Bella is and I obviously have her on my wall (much to the disgust of Mrs OS). I think I would prefer Bella to stay there and Foxy Megan can join me in bed or.....Amanda Mealing (just to throw a new name into the pot)

On holiday Dame Doon and I once won a music quiz with 40 correct answers. We got some really weird looks for the rest of the week.
The compere thought we were taking the pizz.
If I remember the deciding song was a Carol King standard which many thought was sung by the Ronettes or Carol King but it was by a group called .....och I can't remember

Which one do you want us to comment on Doon?
Noir C'est Noir by Johnny Halliday
or the Belle E'poque version or possibly, horror of horrors, the Joy version.
No, the original is still the best!

Goffin/King collaberated on some excellent songs back in the 1960s, some of which she sung herself, others were better done by other artists - (You make me feel like a) Natural Woman sung by Aretha Franklin being an obvious choice. Pretty sure Mamas and Papas might have covered one of hers too....

That would be Tony Christie Doon - that 40 question music quiz, you and Mrs Doon once won - would it be a wild shot in the dark to surmise that she got most of the answers
