Favourite fat wrestler.......

Despite Vince's passion for protein & stonker for steriods the 'WWE Universe' have been blessed with some great obese athletes in 'Sports Entertianment' history.... Who do you rank as the number 1?

Bam Bam was an unbelievable athlete for his size, but I'm having a complete mental block - was he any good on the mic? I actually can't remember!

I cant recall him being overly good on the stick

I cant recall either... Probably solid but never really got much oppurtunity to showcase it

not only is he my favourite "fat" wrestler, he is one of my all time faves as well - Big Van Vader.

The guy scared the wits out of me when I was younger. He was pretty damn good in the ring for a 400 pound man as well.

Though I will mention Uncle Elmer who was in the Hillbillies in the late 80's. 6'10 and 450 pounds. They had a Hillbilly wedding and Jesse described it as "a couple of carp in the mississipi going for the same piece of corn!"

that big mask he used to wear entering the ring with the smoke coming from it was awesome.

Went for Vader, but would have "plumped" for Foley if he was on the list

Big Boss Man for me he is one of my all time favourites I loved the entrance music


Amish Roadkill should have been on the list, he was brilliant in ECW, really agile for a large man

Tough one. I'm giving Bam Bam the edge over Vader but I rate them both for pretty much the same reasons. Bam Bam was capable enough on the mic and was generally pretty solid with his story telling. Also, where the hell is Mantaur? What an oversight. What exactly was his gimmick, was he a man who thought he was a minotaur? Bizarse

went for Samoa Joe for his ROH stint and his early TNA days when they actually pushed him. Sadly his time seems to be over now and I doubt he will get another major push - his physique and ring work is getting worse but I think that is a case of lack of motivation brought about by being under-used by TNA. It's a vicious circle but he is a genuinely talented larger athlete.

I voted for Dusty Rhodes , he and Ric Flair were my favourite wrestlers when i was younger as i prefered NWA Jim Crockett Promotions to the WWF
