Swagger at Mania....

...Just a thought, its well known that JR was always a fan of Jack Swagger with him been from Oaklahoma, so it got me thinking do you think there is anychance of a Swagger face turn at Mania by double crossing Michael Cole with a little help from JR?

Swagger for me will make a fantastic babyface, I've been crying out for it since before he won MITB last Mania.

swagger is a difficult pick because which ever way you package him swagger looks and sounds a goofy. Therefore he would not be a believable heel nor a "cool" face. How would you book swagger, his talent is obvious but his character needs defining. Back in the day swagger would have been much higher up the bill for the simple fact that they would have given him a manager such as hart or heenan to talk for him and put him over in the process.

The obvious is to rebrand more and more as the next Angle, get him using his upper body and making guys tap out with locks etc. He doesn't need to speak that much, huge faces like Taker, Jeff Hardy and Rey Mysterio barely utter a word and it still works for them.

Swagger definately needs a change; if he stays as a heel he needs a new direction. He is a great wrestler and as other people have said the obvious route to take would be a Kurt Angle direction. I am just not sure that people would take to him as a face, that being said its probably worth a shot because he isn't doing much at the moment.

Swagger will make a really good babyface in my opinion, but he needs to be given a gimmick where his wrestling skills are at the forefront. It's been said that he sounds too goofy to be able to pull off a 'Wrestling Machine' type gimmick but if WWE were to limit his mic time and concentrate more on the fact that he can whoop anybody's ass at any time then it shouldn't be a problem.

He had a brief phase after he lost the title where he was going nuts on people and hitting ankle locks left right and centre, that’s what he needs to go back to, a proper hard wrestler in a Ken Shamrock/Angle style.

If there going to go down the route of an american hero gimmick they need a Foriegn Wrestler to start coming down and insulting USA etc....(possibly Del Rio as he is already doing this on a regular basis) This always work as you get over with the fans immediately....look at Lex Luger who went from The Narssiest to the 'Made In The USA' all because of 1 power slam to yokozuna at an american army base.

Sending him after Del Rio could work, as long as they don't make Swagger a cartoonish patriotic super face. He doesn't need to carry around the US flag, he doesn't need to go around encouraging people to chant "USA! USA!", all he needs to do is come out during a Del Rio rant about the States and say "I don't like you talking sh|t about my country, so I'm gonna break your ankle".

That would be a fantastic way to go about it too.

Both those guys are ideally matched (1 inch different and same billed weight), both can put on great matches and ADR is generating such great heat that anyone will automatically get a face pop going up against him

Bit late now with him already been involved at Mania but could of even done an angle where Duggan is attacked when he was annouced into the Hall of Fame the other week and had him making a speech in the ring for ADR to have come to the ring get him in an arm bar for then Swagger to have come down and said him

No point sending Swagger after Del Rio just now anyway, Del Rio's got a World title match with Edge to concentrate on so there's no need to have a Swagger/Del Rio confrontation right now, it would just get lost in the shuffle.

Once the Del Rio/Edge (and possibly Christian) feud is finished I'd give Alberto a couple of more feuds before finally pairing him off with Swagger. You'd need to get Jack up to a fairly credible level again before you can do his face turn and right now he's not there.

They need to team A-Ri and Swagger up to make some sort of all American Frat Boy Tag Team...would be epic and a geniune challenge to the Corre and Nexus who are owning it.

Anything with A-Ri would be epic
