Chuck Bednarik Award — College Defensive Player of the Year
Tyrann Mathieu. LSU

Biletnikoff Award — Nation’s Most Outstanding Receiver
Justin Blackmon, Oklahoma State*

Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award — Nation’s Most Outstanding Placekicker
No Comment!

Ray Guy Award — Nation’s Most Outstanding Punter
No Comment!

Lombardi Trophy — Best Football Lineman or Linebacker
Dont’a Hightower, Alabama

John Mackey Award — Nation’s Most Outstanding Tight End
Orson Charles, Georgia

Maxwell Award — College Player of the Year
Trent Richardson, Alabama

Bronko Nagurski Trophy — Nation’s Best Defensive Player
Can I not vote Tyrann Mathieu. LSU again...

Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award –Nation’s Best Quarterback
Case Keenum, Houston

Outland Trophy –Nation’s Most Outstanding Interior Lineman
Devon Still, Penn State

Jim Thorpe Award –Nation’s Most Outstanding Defensive Back
Can I not vote Tyrann Mathieu. LSU again... seems odd to have a DB award that doesn't list someone listed for the best college defensive player of the year?

Doak Walker Award –Nation’s Most Outstanding Running Back
Trent Richardson, Alabama

Crazy_Dave23- Only Devon Still is up for both defensive player of the year awards, and it does seem odd that Mathieu can be considered for defensive player of the year but not for his positional award.

Mathieu is good but claiborne is 10x better, mathieu has got burned several times this year, I think if he is in the running for def poy, claiborne has to be too

I don't know a lot about most of these players, agree that Mathieu will probably win the defensive awards but Claiborne looks way better as a prospect!

How is Robert Griffin III not on any of these lists?

From Alex Ferguson (blogs for Sky Sports and has a blog called View From North America)
Chuck Bednarik Award — College Defensive Player of the Year
Tyrann Mathieu, LSU. Although Hightower more deserving IMHO

Biletnikoff Award — Nation’s Most Outstanding Receiver
Robert Woods, USC. Although it'll probably go to Blackmon, Woods has MADE USC football this year

Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award — Nation’s Most Outstanding Placekicker
Caleb Sturgis, Florida

Ray Guy Award — Nation’s Most Outstanding Punter
Steven Clark, Auburn

Lombardi Trophy — Best Football Lineman or Linebacker
Courtney Upshaw, Alabama. Incredible in the Alabama defence, which is absolutely incredible in itself.

John Mackey Award — Nation’s Most Outstanding Tight End
Orson Charles, Georgia. A big reason why UGA won the SEC East.

Maxwell Award — College Player of the Year
Trent Richardson, Alabama. He has been fantastic all year long.

Bronko Nagurski Trophy — Nation’s Best Defensive Player
Devon Still, Penn State. He has MADE Penn State's defense this year.

Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award –Nation’s Best Quarterback
Robert Griffin III, Baylor. Look how crappy Baylor was prior to him playing for them. And he's been incredible this year

Outland Trophy –Nation’s Most Outstanding Interior Lineman
Devon Still, Penn State.

Jim Thorpe Award –Nation’s Most Outstanding Defensive Back
Morris Claiborne, LSU. See his big INT against Alabama for details.

Doak Walker Award –Nation’s Most Outstanding Running Back
Trent Richardson, Alabama. There really isn't an argument otherwise.

Doh! That will teach me to read properly before I comment. Still reckon RG3 should be ahead of Kellen Moore for the Maxwell award though

With the Heisman do they announce their finalists at some point or just announce the winner?

I think it gets narrowed down to a top 3? I may be wrong though but I am sure that their is a big deal about who has been invited to Heisman night
