Scarlets full-back Liam Williams has described his call-up to the Wales national squad as 'unreal'.
The meteoric rise of this youngster has actually taken less than six months. He played for Wales under 20s at last seasons JRWC, but was not a first name on the Team sheet.
Though it appears that in the Two big Heineken cup games for the Scarlets his name was top of the list, and the performances he gave, rightly so.
This recent, we are talking a couple of months here, top exposure and the way that he has reacted has earned him plenty of praise and most importantly a call up to the Welsh senior squad for their International against Australia.
Is he a future prospect at fifteen for Wales. Currently Leigh Halfpenny tops the list, but with injury to Halfpenny at the moment could see Williams make his debut come December the 3rd.

gotta say, he looks like north - the fullback model, just born to play rugby.
lets see how he goes over the course of the entire season, but so far hes played very well and deserves his place on merit.

He reminds of a longhaired full back we used to use frequently in the late sixties and most of the seventies.
They have the same running style, it doesn't look fast but players struggle to catch them and they always enter the line in the right spot on an angle the defence cant quite read as well as other players. Seems to appear in that particular spot at the right time to score a try. With the boot they don't look like great kickers but the forwards always look happy with the distance they return the play to.
This kid might fill some very old boots one day.

I really like this kid, the comparison has been made alot lately but surely another JPR in the making. Not just because of his hair, just the way he runs full pelt at people with an insane look on his face.
