Chris Jericho
Why is everyone so made up about his return and why do people think he will go straight in for a title shot at WrestleMania
Personally while he was around before I found him boring and turgid to watch.
What is all the hype about?

In the Wrestlemania card predictions...
IF Jericho comes back he should not be anywhere near the title IMO.

2 people. 1 of them stating that Jericho wins the title before the Royal Rumble. Hardly a majority.

Re: Chris Jericho
I think a match between Punk and Jericho has a script already written...just who is the best in the world.

You said you couldnt see anyone....I was merely suggesting that you may be wrong. No hard feelings!

Re: Chris Jericho
A 'who is the best in the world' match on the same night as the Rock vs Cena would be bad booking in my opinion.
The answer would be neither of them....

Re: Chris Jericho
I can't understand the negativity surrounding Jericho at the moment, I assume it has more to do with his off-screen persona where he appears to have become less outspoken, and towing the WWE line, but at the same made promises to wrestling fans without keeping them. His last WWE run from 07-10 was probably the best of his career, the slow talking, methodical Jericho had some of the best feuds and matches of those years.
It was tarnished I felt by a poor write out, and towards the end of that run his character had started to become stale, and I, and a lot of other people, felt that maybe a turn was what he needed.
I would be happy to see Jericho return, as like you say, they will only be better if somebody as clearly talented as Chris Jericho was back on the roster, and with his eagerness and ability to help put over younger talents and the lower belts, people like Rhodes and Ziggler could benefit greatly from the rub Y2J could give them.

Wasn't it Evan Bourne he put over several times just before he left (via an orton punt)? He couldn't beat Bourne for love nor money if memory serves me right. What a waste of time that was.

Re: Chris Jericho
Jericho put that many people over during his last run that beating him didn't feel important
When you start putting guys like JTG over clean on SmackDown! it dulls the effect of putting Evan Bourne over on PPV
I've seen loads of people say Jericho was one of those guys that didn't get hurt by losses but I don't agree with that even though I think I might have tricked myself into believing it.
It's commendable that a name like Jericho was willing to take so many hits but it done more harm than good, I don't think out of all those losses that anyone was actually propelled by beating him
