Q&A with Hero
First topic message reminder :
Although he's gone to the big leagues and left you chumpstains to fend for themselves Hero has kindly allowed to give you the opportunity to ask him any burning desires you always wanted to know about him!
Questions like....
Which was your best idea?
How many awesome stables/tag teams and wrestlers names did you come up with?
Why on earth did you put over Scorpion?
Does Miss Jessica make a squelching sound when she walks?
How did you make it as a wrestler based on a diet of cheesy puffs, cherryade and woo woos?
So get your thinking caps on and put forward your questions for the Alpha Male, the Best Frickin Thing in the World Today, the Saviour, the 8 time World Champion, the first ever Undisputed, the first ever Grand Slam, the first ever active inductee to the Legends Club, the one, the only...Hero.

If you could give me one piece of advice for my e-fedding future, what would it be?
Yes
Show weaknesses. Characters gain far more depth and become far more memorable if they have weaknesses and quirks.

So hard to choose, the first with Revolution v the likes of EZ, Diablo, River, Randy Peeper
In Anarchy v Trash Tv
I'd have to go with the last one though, to go with something new and make it work so well was great.

What do you think of Abe Abercorn's taste in music and his politics?

I've not talked in the third person for over 18 months, thanks for noticing GM

Never reading promos got River into the Legends Club, figured it would work for me as well

Gregers wrote:Whats your favourite feud that you wish you could have been a part of?
Hart v Perfect was great. One of those classic break ups of a tag team.

jeromedubois wrote:Who do you feel was a wasted talent? In the sense that left or lacked promo's, or kept leaving and coming back, etc...
Snake Eyes, Mr Crowley, GDC, Napalm.
A ofll these still had a story to tell.

You can go as far as you want but you need to find your thing, your style. Something that makes people think 'god I wish I came up with that'

Whats the worst gimmick that anyone's ever come up with in 6WF?
Who do you think the most underrated guy in 6WF was/is?

What advice could you give to someone looking to keep their promos original and fresh and not repetitive when they are involved in a long feud?

Re: Q&A with Hero
I agree with the Crowley part. One of the best characters I have ever seen, and I think is personally my favorite character.

Tighten up on your promos a bit, think of your character actually in the situation saying them, react to what your opponent is doing and build a banter with them. Interact, make people want to feud with you.

Marshall wrote:Whats the worst gimmick that anyone's ever come up with in 6WF?

I've had a few ruddy awful ones (MC ZOM B, Mack Daddy, Mr Squiggles)
But the worst had to be EVAL who beat me to the Internet Title back at the very first BIF, his gimmick was that he just said EVALLLLL a lot.
Hmm, hard one, most guys that had real writing talent get the belts, rare that one didn't quickly make his way to the top. I'll plump for a guy that should have won the big one in 6WF not just once but many times...Max Adamson.

Crowley (sorry)
Loved the freakazoid with his ribena and mantlepieces. Always made me think of Noel Fielding's character in the IT crowd Richmond.

I'll actually say Crime Lord, when Leak is in the zone with him not many can keep up with him, most guys about nowadays haven't seen him at his peak and I hope now he's not under my cloak anymore he can flourish once again.

Talk to your opponent, come up with a reason why the pair of you want to beat the jeebies out of each other and roll with it. Again though it's about depth of character, if you have quirks and flaws it's far easier to keep going with things.
Think of guys who are the best storytellers and long term feud guys, Jericho, HBK, Punk etc, they have flaws not like Orton or Cena who rarely ever look weak.

Who was the best ever commissioner?
I can't answer that, there's far too many of them still about! I think most of them would be hard pressed to argue against JJ though. One I thought didn't get the credit he deserved was Saint, had a lot of good ideas during his reign.

Y I Man wrote:So in other words, Longinus needs to hit the drink again. Cheers.
if you went down that route it could be interesting but I'd use it in a manner not for cheap kicks, a few promos where he's slurring his words will quickly becoming boring. An extended story of him battling demons where he's potentially risking the safety of himself and his opponents, alienating his friends who are trying to assist him and sinking to low depths would make a far more interesting read.

Lex Hart wrote:Lex Hart - Heel or Face ?
Either sneaky as hell heel or palladin of virtue face, no middle ground tweener.
Re: Q&A with Hero
I don't think he needs to hit the drink again too quickly, I feel there is nothing to promo against him as former drinker. I would be wary of changing your character too often.

All three, she's a genius that makes sure she's in the right place with the right people and she's a redhead, enough said there.

The Saint. Gives Dragon a title whilst frees up Saint to then move back to main event feud.
Re: Q&A with Hero
Sort of covers my next question, can you see The Saint being a world champ in the next year??

As we all saw, Finlay was inducted into the Legends Club last weekend.
How big an impact did Finlay's invasion of TAW have on 6WF?
Would 6WF still exist today had Finlay's decision not happened?

Out of interest seeing as you are one of the founding fathers of the 6WF, where do you see Dubs going should Dubs not disappear again! haha

Some people have called the Max Adamson intergender match a 'Holocaust for the eyes' and a 'Raping of the cornea', would you agree?

A huge one! Though there so many little things back then that happened that were potential Han Solo stepping on twigs moments.
Who knows, maybe not?
