To be honest, fella, everyone else has covered this base, but in my opinion, you just need to add consistency, depth and emotion to the character. The Saint's still around now because he's flawed, he has strengths, he has weaknesses and people when promoing with me, can exploit them and it makes for good back and fore's because I try and manufacture situations where we can have a good back and forth and both come out of it looking good and adding something to the feud.
Your enthusiasm for it's spot on, I can't fault you for that at all, I just think perhaps with a bit of focus and consistency, you can establish a unique character that will make people want to feud with you.
Remember too, there are people here who can help and give advice.

Re: Q+A with The Saint.

Well, obviously now I have a title to defend so hopefully I have a decent hardcore run so I can portray Saint as a hardcore styled wrestler, wherein, he'll do whatever it takes and take risks to reap reward - But ultimately, I hope to eventually be back in the main event scene, I think it's about time soon hopefully, seeing as I last held a World Title about two years ago. But either way, I'm happy to go wherever, I love doing this and if staying in the mid card means I get to promo with new people then I'm all for it!
Who do you most enjoy promoing with?
Wow, where do I start?! Really, I enjoy promoing with whoever I get to promo with, because everyone brings something different to the table and I love the challenge of trying to better someone. But that's being too diplomatic.
I love promoing with Demon, I think sparring with him brings out the best in me, and that's testament to him! I also enjoyed sparring with Marsh and Beer earlier in the year too. Honourable mentions do have to go to JJ, Nemesis and Gregers though. Had some very enjoyable spars with those guys!
Who would you like to go up against who you haven't already?
Off the top of my head, Leone and Rapture. Both are good promoers and bring something a little bit different to the table, and as I've said, I bloody love a challenge!

Which promos do you most enjoy writing (In ring, Backstage, Interview, Vignettes, etc) and why? Likewise which ones do you least like writing and why?
Heel or face?
Miss Jessica how does she like it?
Grand slam... What's next?

In terms of the on form promoer, theres a few to choose from isn't there, lets face it, the promos for BiF were the best set off PPV promo's I've read in my nearly 5 years doing this gig! Without being big headed, I think I might be up there. Usually, I'm my own harshest critic as some of you may know and I'll constantly critique my own stuff after posting it, but I couldn't fault or alter any of my promos in the build up, and it's good for me that I'm back in the zone because sometimes I can go off the boil terribly.
I mean, Beer's stuff against Marshall was astounding, I was so disappointed when he upped sticks and took his sabbatical because I'm a massive CJ fan, and you're a great promoer too, anyone who can shut Demon's Cassius character up is seriously going to be going places!
It's so hard to choose though! I'll plump for the Church boys, because collectively they're a force to be reckoned with.
In terms of making a step up, it has to be the Church lads again, and that includes Crimey, who is one of the greatest promoers I've seen!
Now for the honesty, I love being a champion, and I'm eternally grateful for being blessed with the Grand Slam. But it's difficult to feud with people as a champ, because usually there's a different challenger every month and you struggle to build a rapport with your opponent, so over the last 6 months, it's hard to pick out a feud of mine that stands out to me.

Great question. Personally, I prefer varying between the backstage and in ring ones, but if anything I prefer the backstage ones. Ultimately though, you can't top a back and forth, no matter what the scene.
Adversely, I struggle with vignettes but still try to master them. I find it hard to really articulate it as I see it in my head.
Heel or face?
Heel, marginally. Being face allows me to have a bit of fun and be a bit of a suck up what is all well and good but you can't top being the ultimate nasty bast*rd, can you!!
Miss Jessica how does she like it?
When she's in control, she bites!
Grand slam... What's next?
Like I've said, hopefully after a healthy hardcore title run, I can push back up into the main event, world title scene. Being a Grand Slam holder isn't the end, I want to be the most successful distinguished guy here, which I believe is possibly in touching distance!

Steve's Rapture character. I'm a massive fan of the turn around from Sanchez to Rapture, and I think that sky is the limit for him. I'm intrigued as to see just how much depth he can add to the character and where he can take him. I have high hopes for him, he (Steve) has a bang on attitude and is enthusiastic to progress the character.
Which of the current roster has the most potential/longevity?
Dare I say it, you, Pookie. I think CJ has the potential to adopt as many persona's as possible, and as soon as the Judas gimmick wears thin, I think you can easily find something else. You're promo's are of a cracking standard and as I've said, you've gone toe to toe with the greats and come out often looking the stronger. It'll be a travesty if you're not world title material come next BiF!!
Where do you see yourself come BIF next year?
Still here hopefully haha! In character though, hopefully in the world title scene or if not, participating in the climax to a massive feud.

Out of interest as I never heard you side of it but what did you think of the very first Dubs vs Saint back in 2009?
Also if you had to put money on someone winning the 6WF world title next year who would it be?

I think it was the feud that probably gave you the true taste of this e-fed. In terms of the story, it was a nice little shocker that the apparently face Dubois was taking The Saint out on the regular. I very much enjoyed it mate!

Re: Q+A with The Saint.
Who has brought the best out of you in feuds?
JJ, we had a feud a few years ago, where The Saint and JJ were best friends but tension arose when both trying to out do each other and that sort of spilled over into the promos too. Just a constant game of one upmanship! Of course he blew me out the water!
Who's been your biggest foe over the years?
At the start, Nemesis and The Saint constantly collided but now, I'm not so sure...
What's been your biggest regret?
I regret being so short fused sometimes, sometimes I fall foul of banter and don't take it that way, but it's the way I am.
I regret not implementing more of my ideas during my reign as commish. I think it was spoiled by the tension between me and River, we didn't get on at all and I was allowed no room for stories as usually it ended in us arguing like cat and dog. I had big ideas and unfortunately couldn't ever use them. I think, looking back that it might have spoilt peoples perceptions of me, because stuff got a bit petty and when I tried to run for commissioner after that, people were probably reluctant after my previous tenure.

Absolutely! It'd be a cracking turn up for the books and would be like starting afresh, I have unfinished business in 6WF though!

Would you ever like another shot at being commissioner?
Which title do you feel has the most connection with Saint?
If you could be in a tag team with one 6CWF Wrestler now, who would it be?
Which star of the past in 6WF would fit in the best today in 6CWF?

I think part of me always will but not now. I think what Mat and JJ produce surpasses anything I could ever cook up, if I was to helm 6WF, everyone would be out the door within a few weeks!
Which title do you feel has the most connection with Saint?
Great question, I think before the merging of the two world titles, it'd be the TAW. Was my first singles title and also, in stroyline, The Saint had to go through a lot to win it both times!
If you could be in a tag team with one 6CWF Wrestler now, who would it be?
Another good question, it'd have to be JJ, so that we could educate you all about The Coalition once more. Some of the stuff we did was pretty decent back in the day but to be honest, I'm fed up of being part of a team for now, I'm very keen for The Saint to go solo for a while as for the last year and a bit, I've been involved in a stable of sorts, be it The Association or Jessica's Clientele.
Which star of the past in 6WF would fit in the best today in 6CWF?
Nemesis, definitely. I think every federation needs a monster heel!

I think perhaps you need to discover a niche, it's all well and good him being called The Scorpion but why? Where's he from? What's his back story? What are his motivations? There's so much untapped potential there, you just need to articulate that and then relate it to the feud you're in. Keep things fresh, don't make him into another CM Punk, Rock, Chris Jericho or whatever, make him into The Scorpion, a stand out character in his own right.

I think, I'd happily feud with any of them if it meant that they improved as a result. You just have to look at Marshall and Beer, as an example. Quite early on, they got to promo with Hero and were involved with myself and Demon, and an exposure to our collective experience helped them along further, not that they needed it!
Mcmanus, Bright future?
Sky's the limit, as long as you remain enthusiastic and continue in the same vein as you are. Continue to show the willing to improve your character and take part and you'll be rewarded accordingly.

Just enjoy the ride mate, it's like a rollercoaster, twists and turns everywhere. Just have faith in where the lads take your character be prepared to play a waiting game, obviously you won't be winning world titles within weeks.
