Well dont to Judd Trump, i honestly never thought that he would get there after being 5-4 and 47 down. Great stuff for him. Ronnies long wait of a another major titel continues.

Semi-Final draw poses a possible Allen v Trump showdown. The young pretenders or the future of snooker?
However, I have been very impressed with Walden. A big semi-final for him

For me it Robbo v Allen final. Robbo has more experience over the longer format than Trump and Allen just looks in good nick.

I don't know eirebilly, Trump rattled off a good 5 frames against Maguire. I think he can do the same against Robbo.
That said, it is good that Robbo is coming back to the form we know he can produce.

Re: Snooker UK Championships (3rd-11th December)
I think Trump has played some really gripping snooker this week. Some of his shot selections are as alternative as Ebdon's were but in an attacking sense.
I'm off to Sheffield this/next year and although I was excited by going there wasn't anyone I particularly wanted to see (assuming Jimmy doesn't qualify ha ha) until I watched the Trumpet this week. I'll now be taking a far keener interest in the draw.
I'd like to see a Trump v Allen final. Also wouldn't mind seeing Hearn have to present the trophy to Allen if he wins!
Trump has just gone 4-3 up here. Oh okay Robertson's going for snookers, make that will go 4-3 up!

What is the semi final first to now? Two sessions, and first to 10?

It's the best of 17 at this stage.
Dread to think what it will be by next year if Hearn gets his way.
Just a re-spotted black maybe with Michaela Tabb dressed in a snooker ball polka dotted bikini. Pink ball at the front Brown ball at the back no doubt.

If if was a BO11 twist i might agree with you that Trump would win but over a BO17, i favout Robbo.
4-4 after the first session is bang on, very evenly matched.

Re: Snooker UK Championships (3rd-11th December)
Ricky Walden plays some excellent stuff, with two centuries to lead 5-3. Mark Allen lead 3-1 at the mid-session interval, but a costly miss to go 4-1 up lead to Walden winning the last 4 frames.
