Us X Factor v UK X Factor
I have been watching both so far and I can truly say that the American peepees all over the UK one!
Its the same every year, American Idol is leagues ahead of any of the UK talent shows. This week it was Michael Jackson week in the US and although slightly disappointing, it was never anything less than interesting.
But the real highlight was Simon Cowell throwing a tantrum after his act was eliminated in the vote off - hilarious!
So - who is watching this and how do you think it compares to the UK one?
Here is a link to last weeks standout performance - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMmSVvhDuCo

Absolutely love the American version, but cannot stand the UK version.
Everyone on the American one is massively talented. Josh Krajcik in particular.

i cant stand the both of them. I find the shows absoloutely ridiclous, and on most occasions its never about the acts but the judges winning.

- Spoiler:
Re: Us X Factor v UK X Factor
the usa x factor is still running this year, though i still think the uk is a bit better then the usa version, usa one seems even more "plastic" then the uk version, formulated.
it might be finished for good in a few years if the ratings keep plummeting like they have the last few years, kind of gets boring after a while.
though it is still very popular in regards to people auditioning for the show, just the tv viewing figures which are on the slide.

Re: Us X Factor v UK X Factor
and a other thing, people said simon cowell was looking for "world domination" when x factor first got popular, and in a way he got it, there is a x factor contest in many countries around the world, each having there own.
so it might fold in the uk if it gets less popular but carry on as a franchise in other countries.

Can't stand that so called Urban chick (Don't know her name!)....who takes herself way too seriously.
Unfortunately My Wife and Son both watch it so I tended to have to suffer it now and again..

You do know her name, you're just pretending you don't.
You like it.
I hate when a thread about this comes up, then someone comes on saying they hate it, if you hate why go on a thread about it?

Neither the US or UK X Factor's are nowhere near as good as American Idol.
Nothing can beat Randy Jackson's "You're going to Hollywood, dawg!" and "For me, for you, it was pitchy dawg"
