Imperial Cup - Sandown 3.00
Have a wee notion for Sheena West's horse SCREAMING BRAVE tomorrow, watched this horse run second at Ffos Las last May and have been keeping an eye on it since - It has a very low weight tomorrow and could run a big race at a decent price.

Easy winner of juvenile event at Leicester last season. Travelled best of all when runner-up at Kempton last month, and could be still more to come. Not to be overlooked at foot of the weights.

Re: Imperial Cup - Sandown 3.00
Well the last decent days fare until the Festival takes centre stage for four days, did we see any possible Cheltenham contenders at Sandown today? Alarazi will have a crack at one of the Hcap hurdles and a possible big bonus,he has a high cruising speed and is economical at his flights but today was his "Champion Hurdle" to my mind and at 6s for the County id readily pass him over.I like the second,Via Galilei, but i have him in mind for the big Hcap on National day.I take the view that it was only the track that beat him today and on a flatter more speed biased course then he might even persuade this old miser to part with some hard earned!
Mon Parrain was ultra impressive,he jumped and travelled like an old hand and the result was never in doubt from a long way out.He could quite literally be anything.Nothing else caught my eye ,so as far as Cheltenham is concerned then its pin your colours to the mast time and bring it on!

I was thrilled for Lucy Wadham........I didn't realise, until I read THIS, just how much winning the Imperial Cup meant to her.
I'm always very excited to see if the winner of the Imperial Cup can do the double and win at Cheltenham.
My fav victory was Gaspara doing it for Pipey Junior and his dear old Dad
I'm ever the optimist so I'm going to say that Alarazi will do it this year for Lucy : )
