...................shoot me down if this is stupid, but are we playing with goalies? Knowing how small a five a side goal is, I might just stick Huddlestone in there (he of massive girth) and then he can play end to end for me.

I'd play with a GK but no defenders, suppose it comes down to individual tactics.
