Re: Newcastle Falcons
Hi Fluxy, your a lucky manager like me in charge of a quality club.
Even though I am still looking at how I want to change my team I can tell you now I will not except that offer. I can only see that deal making my team worse. I want to improve my backs so Gopperth really isn't going to help.
Thanks for the enquiry though.

Re: Newcastle Falcons
Let me see how I get on with Cruden if I get him as I think I will as fair offer, then Mieres could be a deal we could make.

Re: Newcastle Falcons
Percival, Fa'asavalu, Arr, Carlisle, Hopper, Allen, Grove;
Percival NFS, my front five cannot get worse!
Lund + Murray 4 Tauempaononaono + Fasa
Pasqualin and gain for Arr
Which Carlisle?
Hopper and Allen I both really like but could leave
Grove could leave...deal for Hudson?
Would like a big un for Palmer perhaps
Fasa + Percival + Arr + Hopper + Grove + Carlisle 4 Palmer + Lund + Pasqualin + Catterick + May + Eves
Not really sure about if I could do this exact deal just chucking names out

Re: Newcastle Falcons
Kub would need a deal involving Murray.
Gaskell i don't want to lose, because of his versatiliy, he's eq and only going to get better.
Would only consider losing him if i had a deal that was really favourable to me.

I don't see this improving my team. Murray is probably rated slightly higher than Kub, but Kub is available all year round whereas, Murray is missing for 6 nations and AI's. Gaskell is the saxons captain so is worth more than Hudson, and he is also versatile. I'll be honest and say i know very little about Fitzpatrick, but i know Tuitupou does a job for me very well, so wouldn't let him go for Fitzpatrick.

Good response lol
I love Brussow mate and think he's a better 7 than Warbs but I think Warbs is a perfect foil for Croft and I don't think Brussow would be (prob never get picked on but personal thing).
Little bit of interest in Palmer, what you after for him?

Really I would only want Murray, Hudson, Palmer and Lund, two of which you won't sell.

Re: Newcastle Falcons
3 for 3 offers are never fair, I have decided to cut them out altogether.
In the above, I gave you a rising star of New Zealand Rugby, who will be a massive gain on Gopperth, while I gain in the second row where I want a strong partnership.
You have depth at second row anyway, if you let Palmer or Muller go you cans still rotate, Hudson with Palmer or Hudson with Muller, plus you would have decent back up in Hayes and Swinson.
The deal would certaintly give you better control to your backs, if you have Cruden rather than Gopperth.

No 3's no 5's no 7's lol.
My above stands really can't see anything more tbh, there is a gain each and you will still have a good second row, if you decide to lose either Palmer or Muller.

Re: Newcastle Falcons
I just can't find the players to fit the bill for me.
Cuthbert + Gopperth + Lund + Palmer
=
Camacho + Cruden + Johnson + Hanks
Gopperth 4 Cruden - I would do
Lund 4 Johnson - Johnson can play 8, not keen
Palmer 4 Hanks - I would do
Cuthbert 4 Camacho - Merrr bore
Gopperth + Palmer
for
Cruden + Hanks
It's perfect mate one gain each, neither of us will lose EQ players gets me a good second row, while you get quality at 10. As your backs in fairness do lack quality, and you have no real quality control at fly-half.

Re: Newcastle Falcons
I see the above perfect though fluxy.
Two gains each, I get a solid second row.
You get a better fly half to pull the strings.
Im trying to work round a way, as complicated and frustrating as it may look.
Gopperth + Palmer

Cruden + Hanks
We don't lose out on EQ, one gain each.
Take it or leave it fluxy.

Re: Newcastle Falcons
Well my offer was fair one gain each so I don't see anything wrong with that.
Gopperth + Lund/Cuthbert/Eves
I don't feel I gain, if I include Johnson, Nacewa or Shoemark on top of Gopperth 4 Cruden.
If it was...
Gopperth + Palmer/Brussow
for
Cruden + Hanks/Croft
It would be one gain each, surely you can see what im getting at and where im coming from?
