To be fair pretty incredible KO. He has heavy hands we should give him that although against a guy that had a stellar record of 2-3.

His next fight is tonight against the scariest man on the planet "TBA".

Do we want this guy to do well? Do we want him to continue the charade, he's got a pretty big fan base and could bring a circus to boxing for a bit, when do we think he will be exposed?

Pray he gets exposed.

A man shown to be hopeless - either at stand up boxing or ground fighting in the UFC - comes and does well in our noble sport? Makes a laughing stock of us all.

A lot of people seem to get wound up by him and I don't know why. He's only fought about 3 times. What do we expect? Or him to be taking on top level fighters?

Fair play to him is what I say he is only startin out pro boxing. Let's see how far he can go. He entertains the crowds and can knock people out cold. I think it's fun to watch him as he is what he is. Don't understand why people can't see that.

Take Martin Rogan for example. Only started boxing at 32 with less experience than what Kimbo had and got the commonwealth belt. The division is that weak in America he could win some sort of title but not a world one. He's not daft, it will make him some good money and entertain a few folk

He makes boxing look bad if he does well considering his failings in the UFC.

He doesn't sound half as hard if you call him by his real name though. "Kevin Ferguson" doesn't send shivers up your spine does it?

The moment Kimbo steps uo into journeyman status of opponent he will lose. But fair play to him. He is fun to watch.

Be interesting to see though how far he gets! Like people have already stated, he has that "knock people out cold" kind of punch, and if landed will probably KO most H/W's out there at the moment. Its whether he has the skill to land it i suppose. Does he at the moment? No chance. Could he in the future with a decent trainer? Possibly. Is it going to happen? Probably not.

Fun to watch though hey?!

Well he spend his life bare knuckle boxing so the UFC was always goin to be a no no for him. But having watched a few videos of him training he seems like he puts a lot of hard work in.

If he is being trained properly etc then I see no reason why he can't make a good few $$$ and a mickey mouse belt (WBF etc)

He would probably sell more tickets fighting on an undercard than Andre Ward will for his next defence haha

Kimbo is not the kind of guy who likes to roll about wrestling, he likes to stand and trade, MMA was never for him and everyone knew his weakness. I don't understand why people have a problem with him, he is very good with his fists and so has used it to make money over the years. If the Heavyweight division wasn't so much of a joke he wouldn't have bothered with it, as it stands he can make some cash. Fair play to the guy, he's a street fighter who mixed with some tough guys, i hope he makes a few quid.

it looks like the guy was paid to lose. Just seems so fake.

But kimbo is looking really old and it looks like he has put on weight. can't see him doing much in boxing now hes 38.

Mate I will bring it up again, Martin Rogan.

He was 38, beat an Olympic gold medalist in Fraudley and then knocked out the euro and commonwealth champ in Skelton. And to be honest, Kimbo probably has a better regime of training than that clown Rogan. Its not impossible for a below average heavyweight to claim a scalp these days

I am saying the manner in which he knocked the guy out looked fake. It looked set up.

Kimbo had a fight recently and scraped past a debutant...

Got hit in the face an awful lot too. Don't think he is going to be lighting up the boxing scene anytime soon...

To be fair Floyd Patterson got decked by a debutant.

Sorry, that argument is holier than the pope and I know it.
