Would Scarlets consider a move for Faletau to replace Morgan if he leaves?
Dafydd Jones has has said he feels that Morgan will be under pressure to go to an English club now he has chosen to play for England. This will leave Scarlets with a space in their back row and in my opinion Faletau would fit in perfectly with the way they play. Is this a possibility or is Murphy good enough to step up?

Can't see a nice cosmopolitan boy like Faletau wanting to go to Pac y Village.

he's re-signed for the dregs so doubt he would move. He will, imo, eventually go to the Ospreys in a couple of years

I think Murphy might be able to make the step up. He's still young and could make himself into a very solid regional player. Faletau would suit us though, brilliant player, reckon any team would want him.

Faletau also suits the Dragons style of play too and don't really see why he would join the Scarlets. If he keeps up his form when his contract expires he will have a pick of clubs.

He's not long ago signed new contract so lets hope the Scarlets not try and poach from us and develop from within as it seems to be working for them at the moment.
Murphy looked decent prospect.

well we wouldn't be able to buy him out of his contract at all bedford! No way we have the money for that. Faletau himself might want a change though when his contract expires.

Again its a scenario I dread to think about but if he is to move and Lydiate alike then I could see both moving down M4 to CCS as replacements for Rush and Molitika but again I HOPE IT NEVER HAPPENS

He'll definitely leave IMO, but not til his contract expires. Why would he want to stay at the Dragons? We've not got a great deal to offer him, especially if as suspected he develops into a world class 8. He'll then be pretty much first choice at any club so the world will be his oyster.

I wouldn't see Lydiate joining the blues anytime soon. Mollie and Rush are probably retiring after this season but we have patterson and pretorious (when fit) as our 6's. Not that we wouldn't want Lydiate, i just think we're ok at 6 for the time being.
Now faletau at 8...i would snap your hands off, we have no cover at number 8 (usually molitika, which i mentioned above) so need to do something. I am hopefully we may be able to dip in to the coffers and get a decent replacement, with the raft of people leaving in the summer it should free up a lot of cash.
I would say get Delve in after the super 15 finishes, but whether he'd want to come back is another question. He's been superb out in Oz and wouldn't surprise me if they want to keep him and offer him improved terms we may not be able to match.

gc,
Glad to hear you have cover at 6 and would love to see Delve at the Blues,
1 Becuase I have always said that until Toby came along he was our best No8.
2 It means you won't try and pinch Toby off us.
Griff,
Unfortunately I agree with what you are saying and when it comes to European rugby I have always said that the Amlin is our correct level but the main draw is the HC and players such as Toby, Lydiate, Charteris (Ok Perp are poor at mo) and any aspirng player wants to ply their trade at the highest level possible.

Actually I did think Murphy looked like a decent prospect. I do think Faletau would fit in with our style of play but whether he would want to go to another region is questionable. What we really need is a decent prop or two. Maybe if Eifion is looking to come back to Wales...we can but hope
