Hero's League of Huzzah's and Danger: Domestic Cup Season 2

Cup Rules:

You select only a starting XI, no subs.
You do brief tactics, no more than 10 bullet points.
Your side must include 3 x Domestic players and 3x U21 players.
A domestic player is one who is eligible to play for the national team of the country your team is based (e.g. Fiorentina = Italy, Porto - Portugal)
An U21 is any player born on or after 1st October 1990
The domestic and U21s can be the same players.
You must show separatly who are your domestic players and who are your U21s.

Porto v MALAGA

No Injuries for Domestic cup.

Tactics:

1) If Porto play one up front, Samba to man mark. If not, zonal marking.
2) Dabo and Catala free to get forward on the overlap
3) When defending, Dabo and Catala to push Porto wingers out to the touchline
4) Gabi to man-mark Portos AM.
5) Kovacic and Forshaw to provide creativity. Through balls to the fast Oliveira.
6) When defending, Kovacic and Forshaw should sit either side of Gabi to make a 5-man midfield wall.
7) Salvio and Ramirez to take on the Porto FB's and to come inside.
8) When the player on the other flank has the ball, our other winger should get in the box to support Oliveira.
9) Oliveira should sit on the shoulder of the CB and out pace him.
10) Oliveira look to get onto through balls, and pounce on rebounds from long range efforts from our midfield.

• GK - Be vocal to backline, catch rather than punch, organise the defense, be big in goal
  
• FBs - Nothing silly today, look to stay on your feet, push the wingers into the corner whilst defence regroups, block crosses
  
• CBs - Talk to one another, Vertonghen to man mark main striker
  
• DM - Nullify any threat, simple tactics, use size and strength to pressurize early and impose yourself on the game.
  
• RM - Topal on the right hand side, playing in not a marauding role but more to ensure Malaga don't attack down this flank
  
• LM - Rodriguez, main attacking threat with Elm, look to link up play with and go forward down that flank, in times of high posession go up front.
  
• CM - Amorim to keep it simple, listen to instruction and look to pass to Elm, Elm to link up play with Rodriguez on the flank. Both to assist Fellaini
  
• ST - Henrique, SHOOT AT RANGE! or just shoot in the box, look to drift about up front and pull your marker over the place to allow Rodriguez through on the same side.

• Neto - Command your area, sweep up behind the back four for any balls in behind
  
  
• Ansaldi & Grosso - Mark your respective wingers. Stay tight and do not let them run with the ball. Keep them facing away from goal. Get forward when you can, supporting the winger, overlapping and getting in crosses.
  
  
• Botia & Miranda - Miranda picks up any lone striker. Botia picks up any second striker, or plays as spare man. Both go up for corners and free kicks.
  
  
• Fernando - sit and protect the back four, and cover the full backs when they go forward. When in possession, play it simple to Guarin or Barkley
  
  
• Guarin - box to box. Help Fernando out defensively, and then get in support of Barkley and Vellios too. Distribute the ball wide to the wingers.
  
  
• Cerci & Carraro - Run at the full backs, beat your man and get crosses into the box. Track back and help out your FB defensively when the opposition FB goes forward.
  
  
• Barkley - Free role. Get on the ball, run at defenders, play into Vellios, play out to wingers. Play your natural game.
  
  
• Vellios - Target man. When the ball is played in centrally, hold it up for the supporting midfield runners. Get on the end of crosses into the box.
