Former Spurs player dies
George Robb - a regular in the Spurs sides between their two Championship wins in 1951 and 1961 - has died aged 85. Robb won his solitary England cap in the 6-3 thrashing by Hungary in 1953. He was in the side in the very first Spurs match I saw in 1957 - a team that included Blanchflower, Bobby Smith, Ted Ditchburn and Maurice Norman.
He was unlucky never to taste real glory with Tottenham but I'm sure he'll be remembered by older fans. There's a nice obit today in the Daily Telegraph. Anyone see him play?
