My Jujutsu Journey
I've created an entirely new blog dedicated to Jujutsu. I've had the idea for a while and feel the new year is a good time to start it.
www.myjujutsujourney.blogspot.com
This blog will contain everything that interests me concerning all things Jujutsu. Check back from time to time for new posts, my first is an introduction to my new blog and to the Art of Yielding!

My latest blog, some reflections both on my own training and on Joe Rogan becoming a black belt in BJJ. I feel like I've come a long way since I started Aiki-Jujutsu nearly two years ago, yet I still am wise enough to know there is still so much more to learn. Someone like Joe though is an inspiration as he's in fantastic shape and has been doing martial arts his whole life. I said when I started Aiki-Jujutsu that I wanted to be doing martial arts for the rest of my life and he's a great example to me.

Re: My Jujutsu Journey
Nice one, talkingpoint. I haven't got time to read right now, but I'll try to take a look later.
Well done for doing it. I did something similar with boxing and it is a great experience, and good for you to write about it so that those others that were perhaps a bit hesitant to get involved see how the average person finds it.
We all have to begin somewhere.

Another new blog this one focussing on the pitfall of compliancy in 'soft' arts such as Aikido and Aiki-Jujutsu. This blog was inspired from a very poor display of self-defence from an Aikidoka against a Turkish wrestler I found on youtube. it highlighted the shortcomings of practising an art in a self-contained vaccuum and bubble. Martial Artists need to be intelligent about their art at all times.

Found this demonstration thought it was very good and an excellent example of Aiki-Jujutsu. For those interested in the art, enjoy.
