I'm sure Santos would accept that money, but it's not just about the club. The player would have to want to join as well. TPs are decided weighing up both the club and the player's decision.
Yeah but surely if you chuck enough money at a club they'd sell regardless? Wasn't that the case at AC Milan when Real bought Kaka? He only went for the sake of the club, or so he said lol
If the player doesn't agree to a move, there is nothing the selling club can do. They have a contract and both sides have to agree to end it.
Kaka was joining Real, one of the biggest clubs in the world. Not really a sacrifice. If he was that selfless, he would have joined City when they first came knocking, but he didn't want to as the profile of the club was not big enough at that time

Is this 91 million guaranteed?
ill get the money trust me, if not then you can stick a transfer embargo on me.
i got 61 million ATM if i sell jovetic so thats the first payment done
then ill easily get 20 million throughout the season withb sales and my sponser 6mill per win and 3 mil per draw.( unless evryones is a **** about it and makes me lose on-purpose
and then 10 million in 1 season is a forgone concluesion.
also ive got the funds for the 1st paymment so im not breaking any rules, ive got enough!

Mighty, I got my Samsung 23" viewable screen 1080P SRS Trusound for £140, just shop around. They dont really do 23" TV's and as mine was being discontinued I literally searched 12 shops in and around my area. Found it in a Curry's, had to go 25 miles to get it but well worth it.
Most 22" TV's are not actually 22" viewable screen's, always check that and check for SRS Trusound as it makes a hell of a difference from usual Nicam sound or whatever it is.
King Beer, yes I am passionate about Man United. I love Wolves as im born here but Manchester United are my blood (dont ask family thing and stuff). from the age for 4 I learnt learned and turned into the fan I am now. + I do go to Old Trafford.

Depends on the financial situation of the selling club too. I know Brazil's clubs are on the up again financially (or so I read on one of Tim Vickery's columns) but then again, it's too complicated. Thank god I'm not making this decision

You aren't in a position to offer as much wages as City were offering Robinho, despite what you say in your TP. We don't pay wages, so the amount you would be offering players has to be assumed based on your stature and performances in this league.
cherriesfan wrote:come on i offered 91 million over 2 years, if this is anywhere near a realistic league neymar will be mine by the end of the day
So if this is a truly realistic league, Santos would bite your hand off for the £91m, but Neymar would take one look at your status on here, with no European football, and laugh at you saying "I have had the biggest clubs in the world enquiring after me, why would I move to you when it is likely one of them will come back in for me"
That's what the press want you to think.
He's a young, arrogant kid. Money talks and Santos know that
As said before, Santos would take the transfer fee, that is not in question. But we don't do wages on here, so your "wages paid" is assumed by your stature in the Furious League and where Spurs finished last season, they would not be throwing money at Neymar.
I would have thought it was obvious by now; if a player plays for, or is seriously linked to, one of the bigger sides in the world (Barce, Real, Man United etc), they are never going to be accepted in TPs

Maybes the Barca & Real Madrid players would now welcome a move to England as they now have to pay a higher rate of tax than before.

Heck, Hero who is playing in the Champions Cup this season, met the release clause for Torosidis, but the tp was turned down because the player is linked to United IRL

But seriously, for £91million you could just about afford Derek Riordan.

Exactly! If I can't prise away a 26 year old defender in the Greek League at the fee that does actually trigger a release of his contract to come and play with Chiellini, De Rossi, Hulk, Falcao, Gerrard, Reus, Cazorla, Pastore, Reina etc (oh how I like typing those names out) in the Champions Cup then really what chance does Cherry have?
And I've offered well over 50m before for Mario Gomes, don't even go there!

The amount that you throw at the club really doesn't matter to the player when it comes to TPs.
Its what you offer them in terms of competition you are in, compared to other genuine interest.
Hero - one thing I would say is if the rumours of United fizzle out, then it must be well worth re-bidding

I will be Afro, I did make the bid based entirely on the Utd rumour but as shown its often just the press spinning a wheel of players that will never actually move to OT.
