Saving up for a triple threat match at Royal Rumble, they probably want to make sure Mark Henry is fit to compete and I hope he wins but it is very unlikely.

How can you go to a no contest in a no count out no DQ match?

Just realised there was 8 matches plus two big segments (the opening and Barrett's)
Seems like a pretty fast paced show

Because if it wasn't, it means the match is still going on!

If they agree to call a temporary halt because of the "injury" to AJ, maybe? Otherwise, it's a bit...the-gaffer wrote:How can you go to a no contest in a no count out no DQ match?

Just watched this, what's the deal with wrestlers bursting into tears
I'm half expecting this to be a hint at Tommy Dreamer getting in the HoF

i know, how can you take big show seriously, when most weeks he bursts into tears. and since when did matches end because someone who has nothing to do with the match is hurt?

Also, AJ looks far to young, she's 24 but could pass for 14 and the way they dress her and have her acting you can't help but sense the undertones to it all, it's all a wee bit creepy for me

Re: Smackdown spoilers for this week
I have to disagree with you there gaffer, AJ is easily the best looking diva at the moment (until Layla returns)
Re: Smackdown spoilers for this week
The thing is.... Divas aren't fit. They look like slappers

Im serious Marky, they have good chemistry. Why not have them as Smackdown's new power couple
Re: Smackdown spoilers for this week
Because they are the two weediest people on Smackdown.

She looks and acts like a child, it was creepy seeing her stand next to Big Show

No-way man. Screech Poiwers and Violet Bickerstaff, that's their role

Re: Smackdown spoilers for this week
Don't you need some semblance of power to become a power couple?
I still maintain that Daniel Bryan is not world title material yet. When he appears on Raw he's a mid-card afterthought - filler. That says it all.
And Gaffer has hit the nail on the head with AJ. Sinister gimmick designed for those odd, fat guys you see in the audience.

Re: Smackdown spoilers for this week
Such a poor ending to the match and im far from impressed that Big Show cried it was a bit cringeworthy if im hounsit
So funny when D Bryan goes "YOUR A Bar Steward" made me laugh so much
How long was that Brodus match. He gets more air time dancing than wrestling !
Hunico on commentary The new booker t
Its going to be intresting to see how this Drew Mcintyre storyline ends out im acctually quite excited and have confidence in it

Re: Smackdown spoilers for this week
I actually thought that the WHC match (prior to the weird ending and excepting the general creepiness surrounding AJ the girl child of the WWE) was very good with DB showing his skill in getting a crowd heat reaction.
The strange thing is that the obvious pay off would be for him as the face to overcome the Big Show and Henry to legitimise his reign but I am not sure that they can do that now.
Plus, it is crappy that you had the WHC (who previously professed it was his dream) to say that he doesn't care about the title as look as the little child was OK...
Generally felt like they had too many bits to cover and not enough time. Could have removed the Slater/Gabriel and Otunga/Marella matches and given the rest of the card more time.
Some thoughts:
- How can Mahal (who is usually a laughing stock) be seen as a legitimate challenger for Sheamus?
- I get the feeling that Barrett and Sheamus could face at WM... would make a goo grudge match and can't see either of them being involved elsewhere unless in the WHC leaving the other as a spare part
- Natalya is hugely underused
- Tyson Kidd is weedy but underused
- Maybe both are leaving and hence getting squashed
- Tamina should be a heel
- Big Johnny should complete his team of advisors by getting a dodgy accountant. Could be Warwick Davis' or IRS if he is still in the business
- Big Show cries too much
- I am guessing DB is being turned heel but at the moment he is nowhere... running out on thingy having promised to be there for her would have been a great way to build heat, especially if he was clutching his title
- Makes me wonder if the WWE even know what to do with him and are therefore waiting for a sign or something to tell them
