Re: Mad Dogs
Yes, the girlfriend told me the cast were on a morning chat show yesterday, saying that they were doing a 3rd series.
Last nights opener was pretty good I thought.
Wont say anymore for those who missed it.

Very good series IMO, good balance of a dark storyline and humour.

Re: Mad Dogs
I can't believe what i'm reading
Mad Dogs series 1 - 9 out of 10
Mad Dogs series 2 - 3 out of 10
This season is a shocker! From Voodoo to 'lets have another ice cream shall we'.....it's embarrasing! real shame this series has been such a letdown, as soon as that woman came into it and they agreed to let her have the money, i knew it was gonna be a poor storyline.

Re: Mad Dogs
I think the second series has been more enjoyable than the first to be honest even if it has been a bit more ridiculous. However I can't see where they're going with episode 4 as episode 3 wrapped things up imo and there was no need for anymore?

Re: Mad Dogs
yer this series story has been ridiculous to the point of getting embarrasing, they just dont know where to end it. episode 4 they go working for the old ice cream bloke trying to make amends or retrieve more money. surely there not making a series 3, they should just end it ASAP with one of them getting away with a load of cash and the other three either getting shot or prisoned...along those lines

Re: Mad Dogs
There is going to be a season 3 and possibly a season 4
I can see them all having to work for the drug dealer maybe as drug mules in the next series

Re: Mad Dogs
I'll admit I have been openly critical of series 2 of Mad Dogs for various reasons stated previously, however I must admit I did enjoy last nights season finale and them ending up in Morocco. Hopefully the storyline improves for series 3 because much of series 2 was difficult to get through in my opinion.

Looks like they are working for the drug dealer even if they dont know it .

Re: Mad Dogs
Well the madness of Series 2 didn't die down at all in last nights opener. I was shocked when Baxter said they'd only been on holiday for 1 week!
I really enjoyed it, no idea what the character at the end was all about though.

Re: Mad Dogs
I was not sure about the episode and the weirdness. I personally think it's gone on too far but now you can see them going there separate ways (as the trailer suggests) and then somehow all coming back together in a big story.
Also I think there's more to come from Winstone's daughter. The little face mask person is strange, what is that/purpose/hallucinating?

Re: Mad Dogs
Series 4 has been announced as the final one Kenny and will only be 2 episodes long.
I wondered if the weird thing was a hallucination, but we saw it right at the start of the episode so there were no characters who'd be hallucinating. Also agree that Jamie Winstone will be back somehow.

Re: Mad Dogs
Quite an underwhelming ending I thought after my favourite episode of the series. I'd assumed there would be some sort of shock at the end so it seemed a little flat.

Saw the last episode last night, nothing spectacular. First series was obviously the best. Be interesting to see what happens though in the new two part series but it's like next year.

I thought the last series was poor n strange towards the end. Didn't enjoy it that much. They left it at that house in the desert didnt they or they got helicopters out, is that right?

Re: Mad Dogs
I'm more puzzled then a cow in a horse race
Not impressed at all with those two final episodes , the backwards and forwards bits were just confusing
The wife thinks they were shot on the beach and the bit after that was some sort of drifting into the afterlife dream ............................but then she is bonkers

Re: Mad Dogs
Yeah, I thought they were shot n killed & then it was like a dream or afterlife.
Someone then said, who I watched it with, that they were let off but then forced to kill themselves to end their own misery, instead of being shot. They were then being driven or forced onto a highway which wasn't finished in order to kill themselves n that he was dreaming or wishing he was in the other car & continuing his life.
All confusing & a mess really.

Yeah, they said that's the end of the road. Also, if they were tracking the phone, how were they ahead of them & already digging up graves?
Season 1 - Brilliant
Season 2 - Good
Season 3- Poor & confusing at times (money making exercise from this series on)
Season 4 - Shocking end
Did enjoy the series but what always happens is the success of the show forces them to continue it, drag it out & it usually always loses it's original appeal.
