Is it not a conflict of interest given their involvement with Widnes

Probably no more than when JJB were Super League sponsors and involved with Wigan when Dave Whelen was there

Re: Sobarts to sponsor Super League
Anybody see Keith Senior's rants on Twitter yesterday about this. He has a point tbh. What other sporting division would give away naming rights and get no money back in return?

I saw his rant and also saw a few responses from people giving another point of view. This will give the game national exposure with the players pictures appearing on the side of lorries and games being promoted on the back.

The one thing i dont understand about it having read more , is that the other interested party Bet365 or something like that offered more money per year ?

its going to be put on 100 of over 2000 trucks, i would say that Super League have got a pretty rubbish deal, i get the exposure and what not but still. I suppose in the bigger picture though you have Stobart fans worldwide who may pick up on the sport
I'm like King Kenny though, just strikes me as odd that the biggest bidder hasn't won
