Roma FC would just like to say we won't be bidding for Suarez, we like to keep away from such things.
Re: Furious Football Association © : HomePage Season 2, Page 16
Hero, Nando paid £50m ? He will want more than that.

Nice to see Rhodes scoring on his debut, a loan to Everton will be good for the lad and will be ready to stake a claim at Liverpool next season

An he plays as a main forward and is Liverpools main threat for goals, guess you might be right Uncle Fan. I think I'll be better of saving my money andbuying a couple of players for that money.

well
I bought Marchisio, Kerzhakov and Ilicic with the money I got for him so as a team I am better off without him imo

Re: Furious Football Association © : HomePage Season 2, Page 16
IMO Suarez is a really, really good player, but he needs tactics to suit.
He needs to be able to come from wider positions and be able to run with the ball. This needs a lead striker ahead of him.
There are very few teams in this league with forwards who are better players than him - 3/4 maybe

Pretty similar to how I play Hulk when I go two up front.
Re: Furious Football Association © : HomePage Season 2, Page 16
He has 12 goals and 11 assists in 35 games for Liverpool.
That shows he is as much about creating goals and scoring them. And 11 in 35, that's not a terrible rate.

As hes hes Liverpools best he gets hyped up Hardcore but the stats dont lie.
If he was in a better team his stats woul;d be better.
Put it this way, in this league:
RVP starts = Goal
Suarez starts = Chance

Re: Furious Football Association © : HomePage Season 2, Page 16
I don't think Suarez is worth the hassle changing my tactics and style of play for he ain't Messi or Ronaldo and I doubt the players at Roma would get on with him.
Re: Furious Football Association © : HomePage Season 2, Page 16
I'm thinking he would though get on pretty well with fellow S.Americans Pastore, Hulk and Falcao, and that his countryman Godin is at Porto, and in RL Spanish speaking teammate Reina.
Oh and fellow former Ajaz teammate VDW.

No they don't 11 goals and 12 assists in 35 games. Decent stats IMO.
And Viva, Suarez would improve your attack massively IMO, if he was playing instead of Valbuena. Valbuena is a good player, but Suarez is a big step up IMO

I would jump at the opportunity to pair him with RVP up front, but Nando aint going to sell for anything that I can offer without loosing other key players

If you were able to put them together up front your scorers would read "RVP x3, Suarez x3" almost every game...

How does your team gel Hero! Traditionally South Americans don't get on with each other and you have four different countries there, and then they don't look that fondly on the Spanish due to collonialism. You should be having civil war at Porto, not Oktoberfests

does anyone on here have any knowledge of sports injuries?
It feels like I've dented my shin and I intend to play football tonight. I just don't want my leg to snap in half, it would really ruin our tactics.

Cheers nando, it doesn't hurt to walk or run and I finished playing last night without incident.
Might just see how I go. If I shatter it, at least I'll get time off work and at worst a seat on the train.
But honestly, the bone is dented, it goes in and hurts if I prod it. So I should probably stop prodding it.

That really annoys me and it's almost racist just because they speak the same language you assume that they'll become best friends for life. Afro is right, have you heard some of the things these countrys call each other? Mexico and Puerto Rico hate each other but because they speak Spanish and are not far from each other you'll think they love each other. Scottish speak English but do they like the English, lets ask our friend Fan, do you think Shaid Afridi would become mates with Gambhir?

If you have two people that speak the same language placed in a different country then it would be more than likely that they would help one another as they instantly have something immediately to bond over.
Sure English and Scottish have divisions, put a pair though in Peru and they would have more in common with one another than they would the people of Peru initially.
And to state that the Scottish hate the English is in itself a stereotypical view.I'm sure there's plenty that do, I'm sure there's plenty that also don't.

Though I do trust Dr Fury's diagnosis, I think I'll risk it. If I don't turn up tomorrow you can all assume that I'm in an emergency operation to reattach my leg.
