TEAM NEWS
Andy Dawson is back in training and should be available for Hull despite having stitches in a head wound after a collision against Coventry on Saturday.

Hope Akpan is expected to make his debut for the Tigers following his move from Everton.

Norwich striker Aaron Wilbraham is struggling to recover from a back problem in time for the game.

Chris Martin is recovering well from a hamstring injury, but is still around a fortnight away from a return.

MATCH PREVIEW
Norwich, who beat Bristol City on Monday, are unbeaten in seven matches - a run that has cemented their place in the top two and left them on course for a second successive promotion.

They have also notched an impressive eight away wins this term and lost only three times on the road - a feat matched only by leaders QPR. That is an ominous sign for a Hull side that have scored fewer home goals than any other Championship team, and have struggled on their own patch all season.

Hull have won five of their last eight games and are only five points away from the play-off spots, so are not out of the promotion race themselves. But their march towards the top six was halted by defeats in their last two games at the KC Stadium, highlighting again that the Tigers' home form has been the bane of their campaign.

The first goal of this encounter could be all-important. Hull are the only team in the division that are both yet to lose a league match after scoring first, and yet to win one after conceding the opener.

MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head

• Hull and Norwich have each won 11 of the 30 previous league matches between these clubs.

• A win for Hull would complete their first league 'double' over Norwich since the 1970/71 season.

Hull

• The Tigers have won six, drawn six and lost six of their 18 home league games this term.

• Hull have scored only 14 goals at the KC Stadium this season, but are yet to concede more than two goals in a home match.

• They have picked up seven more points on their travels than at home.

Norwich

• Norwich have scored in all of their last nine Championship games, and have failed to score in only four matches this season.

• Of Norwich's 18 league wins, 12 have been by a single goal.

• Aaron Wilbraham, a former Hull player, is one goal away from the 100th of his career.
