cheers KB, Just need advice on the cheapest way to travel round on the tube. We are there for 2 nights 3 days. so a week pass is too much, wondering if 3 day passes is the way forward or just paying for each tube ride we take

Paying for the tube each time is pretty expensive Lee, from what I remember I pretty quickly went through a fiver for a couple of journies (though they were pretty long)

yeah probably just get a day ticket first day for the sight seeing, and walk whenever possible

You'd be best getting a Oyster card to travel about, with that you can use it on both the tube and on Buses.

Hero's right, i think an all day travel card is about £5.60 for zones 1 & 2. Depends how much travelling you're planning to do.

I live near London but don't really know the cheapest method of travel. I'd say on the day you want to see all the sights, don't even get on the tube and walk the river with a map. They're all pretty close to each other and its a lovely walk.
