WWE Best Of PPV Matches 2011 Empty WWE Best Of PPV Matches 2011

I was recently watching this dvd on WWEO, and was watching HHH's entrance. However, they've taken out the "For Whom The Bell Tolls" music and replaced it with something worse... http://wweo.net/?movie=/watch/13040/wwe-best-of-pay-per-view-matches-2011 (about 10:05)

Why have the WWE done this?

As KB said it will be for copyright reasons. Most likely they only agreed for the song to be used on the night, but not for dvd releases etc. UFC do the same thing usually for fighter entrance music by replacing it with some generic rubbish for dvds and for the fights on the PS3 versions of the UFC game.

Metallica are buggers for using copyright law. They probably agreed to use it on that night only, as has been said, and WWE know after the whole Napster issue that Metallica are no strangers to courtrooms.

What do you mean replaced it with something worse? For Whom The Bell Tolls is a classic.

I don't see why it would be to do with copyright, if they let them use it on that night, then surely Metallica can't take them to court, for using it in the DVDs. Afterall pretty much every ppv is released on DVD so they would have known this when they agreed to it.

As much as I like alot of Metallica's music, the whole napstar thing was a disgrace. You had 4 of the richest musicians in the world, moaning about people getting free downloads, it just shows how greedy some of these top earners are. I'd be suprised if the poorest guy in Metallica was worth anything less than 50 million.

Actually I agree with them over Napster. Why should people get their songs for free?! That wasn't the issue that led them to the lawsuit anyway, it was when they were sharing a unfinished copy of "I Disappear" which creatively they hadn't finished and weren't happy with. It was about fairness.

I always thought Taker should have Bellz for his entrance, it makes more sense.

I never said it wasn't...I just meant on the DVD they've taken out "For Whom The Bell Tolls" and put in some other song that doesn't suit the theme very well compared.
