Don't forget your tactics guys, will be sending reminders later on.
I don't know about the stats but by watching his general play he looks a lot more confident in his ability. I think he has improved a lot from what he was.

Good thing I snapped up Senad Lulic from releases before someone else could. He is on form for Lazio irl and his value has risen to 4M on transfermarket. Lazio were 2-0 and a man down vs Cesena yesterday before an inspirational display from Lulic they came back to win the game 3-2. Lulic scored.

Seeing as there is only 4 TP's will we get a pretty quick turnaround?

lol sabotage.
I'm guessing you all saw this?
"Many market values have been brought up to date by Transfermarkt.co.uk. Robin van Persie (photo) gained most in the current updates. The 28-year-old Arsenal striker has gone up by 13 million pounds to 39.5 million. That shows the Dutchman is chasing market value leader Wayne Rooney (26, Manchester United). The most valuable football player in England is still in front by a comfortable 17.5 million pounds though. Rooney value has been increased..."

Why does CF get away with exploiting the laws on tactics?! They are either late or early. Never on time.

As you all know I voted for CF as the most beautiful manager on here and my manager of the season he is cut from the same cloth as Busby, Shankley, Ferguson, Mourinho special men. CF is a lovely guy and I think we should all listen to his greatness and so what if he don't get tactics on time we all have flaws.

***************FURIOUS LEAGUE ANNOUNCEMENT*****************
In light of CricketFan's tardiness on getting his tactics in on time*, we have decided to introduce a new incentive system.
*Not really, we were discussing it anyway, but CF being late offers a good opportunity to announce it
Managers will receive bonus cash related to if they submit tactics on time and if they vote on time including scores, scorers and comments on the vote. This will be for the League, European and Domestic Cup matches starting with next weeks GW4 European games. The bonueses will be as follows:
League matches
£500k bonus for submitting tactics AND submitting votes which include all requirements (score, scorers and explanation).
You have to match both criteria to qualify for the bonus. If you do one and not the other, you will receive nothing.
The tactics deadline to qualify for bonus is 5pm on the Friday
The voting deadline to qualify for bonus is 5pm on the Monday (subject to all criteria being included)
European cups
£100k for submitting your tactics and £100k for each set of votes (£100k if you vote on Europa, £100k if you vote on Champions Cup). This way all teams can earn £200k in total from either tactics or voting.
Domestic Cup
£200k for tactics, £200k for votes from non cup teams. (max of £200k per team)
For both European and Domestic Cups the deadlines to qualify for bonus are:
Tactics - Wednesday 5pm
Voting - Thursday 5pm
All bonuses will be calculated by me after the deadlines have passed and after discussion with the other league runners. They will then be announced on the main page. You will not be able to add any bonus until it has been formally announced.

And there's still no valid explanation as to why it was turned down yesterday.
The official period that has always been used in TPs has been "1 season - August to May".
Although he had seen out a full season in Russia, we were left with the scenario that he moved to his new club after Darren Bent, but all Darren Bent TPs would be turned down, but Traore would not, which does not seem fair or consistent. Therefore it was a no under the original criteria set out for TPs of August to May.
However, the one season rule has been discussed and there will be another announcement shortly.

Three very different players TSC, so it depends what tactics you are going to play.
Modric for someone to sit deeper and play as the "quarterback"
Sneijder for someone who will play more advanced and provide that final killer assist
Schweinsteiger for someone who will provide drive and energy, and go box to box, not offering outstanding flair, but be good at everything

KB - I can understand the Lucas one as he has been linked with the biggest clubs in Europe. Giuliano, I might have expected to go through, but obviously the runners think differently.

Granted, but realistically he'd never get a work permit for those clubs, hence going to somewhere like Leverkusen or Munich.

***************FURIOUS LEAGUE ANNOUNCEMENT*****************
From Monday next week, the one season rule on TPs will be changing.
Up until now, if a player has not been with his club for the period of a full English season (August to May), it has been an automatic no.
Going forward with immediate effect, this rule will change to 1 calendar year. Therefore, a player will only be an automatic no if they have not seen out a full 12 months at their current club since they signed e.g. Joe Bloggski joined his Russian side on 15th February 2011 - up until 15th February 2012, any TP will receive a straight no, from 15th February 2012 onwards, it will be considered on the same basis as the rest

Schweinsteiger is a brilliant player. One of my favourites.
In that formation though, I would have Snjeider in that position more than Schwein Schwein is more like an all action De Rossi style.
If you had all three, you would probably go:
Schwein---Modric
Robben----Sneijder---Ribery
