Have we had this one before?

Anyway,

1. Mohammad Hafeez
2. Upal Tharanga (I know he hasn't played Tests for a few years but he should and I'm stumped for openers)
3. Brendan Taylor
4. Thilan Samaraweera
5. Michael Hussey
6. Misbah-ul-Haq (c)
7. Mark Boucher (wk)
8. Daniel Vettori
9. Tim Bresnan
10. Ben Hilfenhaus
11. Chris Martin

Hafeez - Not underrated (anymore)
Hussey - Regularly stated as one of the finest batsmen of his generation
Vettori - Seen by many as one of the best spinners of his generation as well as being a sensational captain
Misbah - Not sure he's underrated

Apart from that good choices

Hafeez - Still a little I would say. As I say, I was struggling for openers.
Hussey - As soon as he has a run of low scores the press want him dropped - has happened twice in two years.
Vettori - Underrated as an all-rounder. I bet most English pundits when asked to name the best spinners in the world would say "Ajmal (well, he bowled England out), Swann, Panesar, Rehman (ditto Ajmal), Tahir (bowls leg-spin) erm, erm Vettori's good as well..."

Younus Khan and Matt Prior under-rated? I think not.

Yeah, we have done it before I think.

Anyone whom would call Rehman, Tahir or Panesar as 'the best spinners in the World' needs their head tested

I largely agree but commentators can be very short-sighted when it comes to favouring players from their own team or those that have done well against their own team, and those who are unorthodox/'exciting'. Bill Lawry recently declared the Australian pace attack the best in the world - well, England and South Africa would definitely have something to say about that. Similarly, until Ajmal did well against England, the English media loved to dub Swann "the best spinner in the world".
