don't mess with nerds
Don't mess with geeks. They might look perfectly harmless, but underneath that nerdy exterior lies a mind capable of making you look like a complete idiot. Just ask this idiotic laptop thief who's dancing for your pleasure below.
The unnamed crook stole 18-year-old entrepreneur Mark Bao's MacBook Air from his dorm room in Bentley University, Boston, Massachusetts, a few months ago.
He then proceeded to use it, day in, day out, dancing in front of the webcam to record his attempts at dancing – his terrible, terrible attempts at dancing.
He also used the stolen computer's online back-up facility, which copied all of the laptop's contents to a web cloud. Several months later, presuming his old laptop was long gone, Bao bought a new one and checked the web cloud, promptly discovering the crook's name, email address, and this amazing video of the thief dancing – which he then posted to YouTube.
Revenge is sweet, isn't it?
The police were called and the laptop recovered – but Bao, now with two laptops, is selling the old one to raise money for the tsunami relief fund. You know, because he's a nice guy like that. Plus, he's refused to mention the crook's name even after all this, which we genuinely think is a pretty ace thing to do.
Check out the humiliating footage of the unknown boogier and remember: don't mess with geeks. They have a very particular set of skills, and they will find you, and they will humiliate you. It's what they do, you know?
