Re: Well Done Leeds
May I also congratulate the Leeds Rhinos on their great victory over Manly.
I missed the game live but saw the replay yesterday. It seemed to me that Leeds were in some sort of form and played with great intensity. Some wonderful tries and Manly were on the back foot early on.
Manly showed a bit of potential with a couple of tries but Leeds simply out-performed them and were able to score a few more .
Well played Leeds.

Yes well done to Leeds. Expect to hear moans now from Aussie fans about the Aussie clubs not taking the game seriously which is tosh. Australians even playing conkers seriously becoause they hate to lose.

Re: Well Done Leeds
Some eedyets were billowing on about it on foxsports ch...
'oh, it's their off-season....',
'oh, it was a few games into the season for the Rhinos...' and
'why don't they come down here ... and play us after the NRL GF?'
Bollix.
Manly knew what they were in for and the best team won.
As a Manly fan, yes; it hurts... but not really. Leeds have the right to claim they are No 1. Most of us would accept that.
It's just a few bozos; mainly sports journalists who try to whip up a story. Or who carry on and whinge about things when an Australian team loses in England. Not worth a grain of attention from me. It's all just nonsense background clatter as far as I'm concerned.
Well done Leeds.
It looked a thoroughly entertaining match and the atmosphere was great.
It showcased some of the best winning players in the game pitted against one another - at a major club level clash.
Personally, I like the WCC idea and don't mind if it's played in the UK at this time but I'm also open for change and maybe the odd future match could be played in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Auckland at a time reasonable to both parties.
Option 1 - in the 2, 3 or 4 weeks immediately after the SL and NRL Grand Finals when team combos from the winning clubs are still available - and call it WCC 2011. That would be a better contest for the fans I feel.
Option 2 - If they're going to let it develop into NRL clubs sending transitional or experimental teams 4 months after the GFs to play in English conditions... then maybe call that WCC 2012.
(unless you go for option 1 and have it in October/November and call that WCC 2012)

Re: Well Done Leeds
Yeah, I agree.
So the season's started here. A long year ahead. Should be good though.
I'm doing hopelessly in the Super League SG tipping comp... I missed a few games at the start but I've still made some massive blunders...completely wrong picks. Need to getter a better feel for the teams involved!
KK, you're doing well aren't you?

...and further still.
Damn St Helens... to lose by a point.
Are Huddersfield genuine contenders for the premiership or are they on an early season run of form?
